Good Old Uncle Steve

Saturday is supposed to be the one day of the week where you can really let loos and have fun with your friends, right?

Well not for Y/N, Friday night was supposed to be just a nice night with her boyfriend Peter, but instead of cuddling on the couch and watching Star Wars, Peter is in the lab with her dad, working on a new Spider-Man suit.

"Peter, are you going to come cuddle?" Y/N asked, skipping into the lab where Peter, Tony, and Steve where.

"Sorry, sweetie. We're working on something really important. Can it wait?" Tony asked, not even looking up from the suit, as Y/N sighed, and nodded.

"I'll come with you. Maybe we can watch a show or two?" Steve suggests, as Y/N nods and pecks Peter on the cheek before running to catch up with Steve who was half way down the hall

"Thanks for hanging out with me I'm lonely. Peter's been ignoring me all weekend." Y/N sighed sitting on the couch next to Steve. "You're way better than Peter though." Y/N said, causing Steve to chuckle. 

"He's missing out." Steve said, as Y/N hummed , but didn't say anything, catching Steve's attention. "When are you and you're dad supposed to go camping?"

"I don't know, it was supposed to be tomorrow, but he cancelled. He's busy," she said, "we're going again next week definitely. This is the first time he's cancelled so, I can cut him a little slack."

Through out the whole movie, Y/N kept on talking about the plans she had made with her dad and how she was supposed to hangout with Peter. Steve could tell that she was sad that they hadn't been spending time with her, and decided to confront them.

"Hey, I'll be back. Keep playing, okay?" Steve asked as Y/N, nodded.Steve nodded and quickly got up and made his way down the hall to the lab where Peter and Tony where working at. "Can you guys come take a break? Y/N really misses you."

"I wish, I could take a break, but we gotta finish this prototype today...." Peter said, but Steve quickly cut him off.

"No, I'm saying take a break and spend time with Y/N you guys. She was disappointment when you cancelled the camping trip Tony, but she's even sadder now that you're blowing her off."  He said gesturing to Peter, you've been at this all day, take the rest of the day off it's nine o'clock." Steve said, as Peter and Tony looked at each other and nodded. "Good, come on." Steve said, as they all walked out into the movie theater.

"Hey kiddo, scooch over." Tony said as Y/N looked up from the screen to see Peter and Tony in front of her.

"Hey, are you guys done?" Y/N asked, as they both nodded.

"Hey, I'm sorry that I cancelled our camping trip. I really wanted to go with you, and I want you to know that I won't let anything get in the way of it next week." Tony said pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

"It's okay, I understand."

"And I'm sorry I cancelled our date." Peter said, looking up at Y/N with his famous puppy dog pout.

"Don't worry about it you guys. I understand when you cancel things. Doesn't mean I'm not sad about it, but I understand." Y/N said, as her dad smiled at her and leaned his head on top of hers. "Don't worry, being the daughter of an Avenger, I'm pretty sure it means I'll never be lonely." She said as everyone nodded.

Halfway through the movie, Y/N poked Steve in the shoulder with her foot.

"Thank you." She mouthed, she knew it was Uncle Steve who convinced the boys to take a break.

Steve just smiled, he would do anything for his niece.
