Y/N's POV

Today's our last day here in Germany. We're heading back home, where we'll go back to normal. Work will welcome us again. I was packing our things when mama knocked at the door.

"Y/N?"

"Yes, mama?"

"I just want to give you this as a souvenir" She smiled and gave me a small jewelry box.

"Thank you so much. I love it"

"I want you to wear this on your wedding day" She said and hugged me.

"I will mama, I will" A tear fell on my cheek as I answered.

They drove us to the airport and thed bid our goodbyes.

The flight didn't took too long for me because I slept. We stayed at our condo, unpacking. I rested for a bit, filled the bathtub with room temperature water and took a relaxing bath. I stayed there for 15 minutes and rinsed my body.

It was already ten in the evening and time for bed. I checked my e-mails and texted my secretary, informing her that I'll be back to work tomorrow.

"Are you going to go back to work tomorrow?" Justine asked me

"Yeah, I need some cash" I answered.

I woke up very early. It's very early and I was having a hard time. I was not used to it.

"Hi, uhm my mom just wanted to see you. A check-up, basically" Shawn said as we meet in the hallway.

"Oh yeah, I'm on my way. Wanna come?" I answered.

I met Mrs. Mendes at my clinic. She was really recovering. Physically and mentally. I felt very proud of myself, for being able to treat another patient.

"You did so great, Ma'am" I said.

"You did an awesome job dear" She smiled at me.

"You look so gorgeous than before, what's your secret?"

"Uhmm, nothing. I'm just full of happiness"

I think she noticed my ring and looked at me with a hint of surprise.

"Wait, are you?" She asked.

"Yes, Ma'am I am" I said with a smile.

"Ooh, congratulations dear. You deserve to be happy" She hugged me

Shawn, with a girl suddenly went inside. Her mom told him that I was already engaged.

"Uhm yeah, well congratulations" He said forcing himself to smile.

I couldn't feel anything but the cold sweat running in my body.

"We'll go ahead Y/N"

"Yeah sure Mrs. Mendes. Take care"

"Let's go love" Shawn said to the girl beside her. The girl looked shocked and nodded.

I smiled at them as they go out and left my clinic.

Shawn's POV

"Uhmm, about what happened" I said while driving.

"I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean it" I apologize to Brielle.

I really don't know what came to my mind. All I know is I'm not okay. I still love her and didn't expect the news. That she was already engaged to his boyfriend. I know it's not right to still be in love with her because she's already with someone.

"No it's fine" She said without looking at me.

"Uhm, can I ask you a favor?"

"Yeah sure"

"Can you pretend to be my girlfriend?"

"What?"

"I mean, you will only be my girlfriend whenever we have to pretend"

"Okay?"

"Thank you so much"

"I can't believe she's getting married" My mom said.

"Y/N?" I asked, pretending that I forgot.

"Yes, aren't you happy?" She asked.

I think more than a hundred times and I am not very happy. I mean who would be happy to see someone you still love getting married?

"Yes I am" I answered.

There's so much pain inside me. I'm just so good at pretending.

"What's his fiancè's name again?" Mom asked.

"Justine Flinn"

I left mom, I can't take it anymore

I called Brielle for nothing. I just want an accompany. I'm just hurt, really hurt.

"What should I call you by the way?" She asked.

"I don't know. You can call me whatever you want. I don't care"

"You're so annoying" She said.

I smiled. I remembered the times when I make Y/N feel annoyed. She just looked so cute an innocent. I just really wished, I didn't went out that night. Maybe she's still mine.

"You alright?"

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine"

"Do you want me to give you a hug? A friendly one?"

"Please"

She hugged me and I hugged her too. I don't wanna let go of her.
