Glitter? | Part Nine

Tony walked into the room first, and Peter threw a capsule full of blue glitter at him. It exploded, showering him with the sparkly glitter, and he turned to look up at Peter. Tony was annoyed at him. How the hell was Peter able to get him out first? If anything, Tony thought that HE would have gotten PETER out.

Peter put his hand up to his lips in the universal 'shh' sign, and Tony got the hint. He walked out, only to be hit again by Clint from the vents. With Peter's enhanced hearing he could hear Clint's quiet laughs and Tony's exasperated grumbles. Peter risked a glance and saw that now Tony also had pink glitter all over, and he joined Clint in laughing.

Next it was Steve. He was more wary and watchful than Tony, but was still hit by the spider-kid, as Tony liked to call him.

Then Wanda and Nat walked in together. They turned around, backs to each other, surveying the room. Their one mistake was that they didn't look up.

Lastly Clint dropped in from the vents, landing in the middle of the room. Peter and him were the last Avengers (in Clint's case) left, and they were both skilled. Peter threw a capsule at him and Clint dodged, lobbing one at Peter.

Peter crawled up until he was on the ceiling and ran around there.

"Come down here and fight like a man!" Clint said.

"I don't suppose I could convince you to come up here and fight like a spider?" Peter said, smirking from the ceiling.

Finally Peter hit Clint, and everybody was kind of stunned. Then it became a free-for-all, with Peter lobbing his remaining capsules from his position in the corner, and everyone else fighting on the ground except for Wanda, who used her magic to burst the capsules in the air above her target.

Unbeknownst to Peter and the participants of the glitter war, the tour group was stopping by the training room.

"And here, we have the Avengers training room-" Cindy stopped, gaping as she watched the glitter war.

Everyone in the class (with the exception of Ned and MJ) looked shocked, especially after noticing Peter in the corner of the ceiling. But nobody was more shocked than Flash.

"WHAT THE FU-" Flash started, before being interrupted by Steve shouting "Language!".

Peter noticed, his face going white, then he took it in stride. "I told you I had an internship," He said, smirking.

Flash never bothered Peter again after that day.
