Ned stood next to him and started whispering excitedly. "Dude, wow! How do you have the highest level of clearance? And what did she mean by no weapons unauthorized? Did she mean that you can use guns and knives and a ton of other stuff," Ned dropped his voice a little, "and also use your web shooters?"

"I know Mr. Stark, yes I can and know how to use most of the weapons we have here, and I have to be able to walk into the tower without the metal detector revealing my web shooters." Peter answered tiredly, already fed up with the tour.

Peter liked hanging around Ned, he really did, but sometimes his incessant rambling was just too much.

He took out a small pair of earplugs and inconspicuously slipped them into his ears. He looked at Ned, smiling and nodding his head every once in a while.

Unbeknownst to Peter, Flash had seen him put in the earplugs. He smirked from the side, because now he finally had something to get Peter in trouble for.

He told Ms. Michelle that Peter was listening to music on his AirPods and being clearly disrespectful towards the tour leader, which then sent her to Peter.

His earbuds were reinforced and made out of a certain material so that he would barely be able to hear anything. They were especially helpful for sensory overloads, which occasionally happened.

See, Peter didn't put in the earbuds just so he could ignore Ned, but also because he felt that he might be having a sensory overload soon.

His senses were already dialed up way past normal, past normal for Peter with his normally enhanced senses, and too much more would be disastrous.

So, he naturally didn't hear Ms. Michelle when she was telling him to take out the AirPods - they obviously weren't AirPods, but she didn't know any better - which then caused her to try to physically pull them out of his ears.

Big mistake.

Before she could even get an inch away from his ears, his spider sense went haywire, alerting him.

Peter turned with almost inhuman speed and grabbed her arm, flinging it away. Her face exhibited an expression of pain, although she didn't make a sound. Peter was then reminded of his superhuman strength, and why he vowed to never use violence against someone unless he felt that the situation needed it.

"Oh my god! I am so sorry! Is it okay?" Peter said, apologizing profusely.

"It's fine, Peter. Now hand over the AirPods."

He gripped the earbuds and brought them out, wincing almost imperceptibly as the noise around him came back.

He dropped them in her hand, and she dropped them into her pocket.

"Strike two."

A/N: Sorry for not updating for a while, I was having major writer's block and couldn't think of anything to write for this chapter. But I figured it out, and now you have an almost twice as long chapter! I hope you enjoyed!
