"Wha...what do you mean ?" I stuttered.
"I don't know, you tell me. I thought I was your friend, and friends tell eachother a lot of things, but I guess you don't trust me enough so that you tell me how your love life is going with that Eric guy, or whatever his name is."
"How did you know ?" I asked.
Trevor shrugged. "Some friends of mine learned it."
"Well I...I don't know. Nothing's going on."
"Sure, of course. You said you were gonna think about it, right ? Well if nothing was going on you would've said no."
"If something was going on," I got annoyed "I would've said yes !!" I almost yelled, looking at him.
He jumped a bit, surprised by my reaction.
"But you know why I said I would think about it ? Because of you !!"
I stormed off the car and slammed the door, walking fast to my porch, not turning around.

I woke up the next day at the sound of my ringtone. Who was calling me at 10AM ??
I grabbed it and looked at the contact's name... Trevor.
I sighed and answered. "Yes ?"
"Hey Maddie..."
"What do you want ?" I asked with a morning voice.
"I'm sorry for yesterday. Please, I wanna see you and apologize in person. Let me explain..."
I sighed again. "Alright, when ?"
"Well right now I'm going to my basketball's training with the guys, it's at school."
"You, Trevor Jackson, at school a sunday ?" I chuckled.
"Yup, I can always surprise you." he answered with a flirty, mysterious voice. "It'll end towards noon, so if it bothers you to come there..."
"No okay, I'll be in the school's gymnase at noon."
"Thanks Maddie. I'll see you later."
"See ya."

I hung up and sighed.
I should look good. I wanted to see him, I almost needed to see him. But I should look presentable.
I dressed natural but not ugly, but also a bit sport because, well I'll be going to a gymnase (A/N : please go check out the outfit on the external link ;P).
I brushed my hair, straighten them and tied them in a ponytail. I applied light makeup, because I didn't want to look like someone who's trying to much.

Noon came fast. I went into the college and saluted Josh when I crossed him in the hallways ; he was probably going back from the game.
I went through the yard outside, then walked until the door's gymnase. I silently came in and saw only Trevor inside, who didn't see nor heard me.
I quietly sat on the benches and watched him.
He was sweaty, tired, panting but still playing. A few meters away from the basket, he dribbled the ball a few times, suddenly ran as fast as he could and dunked, making his shoes squeal.

"Well done" I threw at him.
He quickly turned to me. "Maddie ! I didn't hear you come in" he said, surprised. "Uh, I'll go change, I'll be right back."
He smiled to excuse himself and ran to the boys changing room.

He came back a few minutes later and climbed up to me, escalading the benches.
"Hey"
"Hey..." I trailed off, a little shy.
I felt awkward -again- because of what happened yesterday. I wonder how he took it, what was on his mind.
He leaned in and kissed my cheek then sat down next to me.
"Look, I'm really sorry for yesterday... I was just in a bad mood and I needed to get annoyed, I'm really sorry it was on you. Please forgive me ?"
For him, it was so cute to say this, and his face was so adorable that I had to.
"Of course" I smiled.
He smiled back and hugged me, then I pulled away. "But please tell me why you were down. You say that friends tell eachother a lot of things, so you should tell me. Please" I pouted.
He seemed to get lost in my eyes for a while, then he looked away. "Alright...But not right now. Please."
I sighed. "Okay... You're lucky I'm nice."
He chuckled. "Yep, I'm lucky."
"Do you remember the day when you found out I could dance ?" I asked.
"Yeah, I do. Why ?"
"Well, you said we could do a choreography together, and the field in the gymnase's a good place, don't you think ?" I smirked.
He smirked back, grabbed my hand and we ran to the field.

And we danced. In rythmn, together, and it all felt great. I wasn't able to watch us, but I'm almost sure we were beautiful, so in harmony. The music we put was an upbeat hip hop song, and we respected the theme of it. Hip hop dancing ; I loved it, so much.
I turned on myself and he catched me by the waist, my back against his body, his arms around me, my hands on his forearms, and my head was turned on the right, and he had his face close to mine.
We catched our breath, staying in the same position a few seconds until he leaned in to have his lips just few inches away from mines.
We softly kissed and soon moved our lips in synchronisation. My heart beated a little bit faster, as I had my eyes closed, enjoying the moment.
We soon - too soon - pulled away and then pulled apart from eachother.
"I'm...I'm sorry" Trevor apologized, awkward.
"It's okay, I'm sorry too" I answered, very uncomfortable. "Uh, let's just pretend it never happened, okay ?"
"Okay" he nodded.
We stayed silent a while until I cleared my throat. "Hum maybe we should go back home...just sayin'"
"Yeah" he approved.

We got out of the gymnase and once we were outside of the school, he looked at me.
"Hey, you know yesterday how I promised to give you a piggy back ride ?"
I sniggered. "Alright."
He bent his knees and I jumped on his back, giggling. And believe me or not, he literally walked until my house with me on his back.
"You're strong" I told him, impressed.
"I know I know" he joked.
I chuckled and slapped his shoulder and got down of him when he stopped in front of my house.
"Thanks for this cool morning...and the piggy back ride" I laughed.
"You're welcome" he smiled at me.
He kissed my cheek, like usual, then left.
He has become really nice and sweet...but it's only appearance, I'm making ideas. He banged a girl yesterday, he hasn't changed.
