Avengers tower, New York City.
(Chloe's POV)

I walked down the hall towards Bruce's lab when I heard talking.

"There's no possibility of deterioration." That must be Dr. Cho.

"The nano-molecular functionality is instantaneous. His cells don't know they're bonding with simulacra."

"She is creating tissue." I heard Bruce explain.

"If you brought him to my lab, the Regeneration Cradle could do this in twenty minutes." Dr. Cho said.

"Oh, he's flat-lining. Call it. Time?" Tony joked.

"No, no, no, I'm gonna live for ever. I'm gonna be made of plastic." Clint said with a laugh.

"You sure old man? You look pretty dead to me." I joked walking in.

"Hey kid." Clint said with a smile as I walked over to mom giving her a hug.

"Here's your beverage." Tony said handing a drink to Clint.

"You'll be made of you Mr. Barton. Your own girlfriend won't be able to tell the difference." Dr. Cho reassured him and I smirked at the statement.

"I don't have a girlfriend." Clint said taking a sip of his drink.

"That I can't fix." Dr. Cho said as she walked over to a tablet.

Me, Clint and mom shared a knowing look.

"Did you find Strucker?" I whispered to mom.

She nodded.

"Him and List. List is dead, and Strucker might as well be." My eyes widened at the mention of his name.

"What's wrong?" She asked noticing my face.

"I'll uh, I'll tell you later."

After that I kinda tuned out the rest.

Except for the part we're Dr. Cho asked if Thor would be at the party.

Ha.

A few days later, we had a goodbye party for Thor, and I think there were about twenty dozen people there.

I wore a short, black dress, with a pair of red heels.

I sat on one of the couches watching people mingle and talk when someone said, "Not going to party?"

I looked over to see a old man with a war veteran hat on.

"No. Not really a people person." I smiled.

"Ah. That's to bad. You one of the supers?" He asked and I nodded in response.

"Well, you know what they say." He said knowingly with a smile.

I frowned shaking my head.

"What do people say?" I asked curiously.

"Ah. With great power, comes great responsibility. Remember that." He said patting my leg, then he left.
