Lithuania. July 21st, 2014.
(Chloe's POV)

"I don't get it though. Why would they start using the collar?" Luke asked from where he sat across from me.

"You don't know? Captain America and Black Widow took down Hydra. The made it collapse. Literally. I heard one of the scientists talking about it. They literally destroyed the building that was the Shield headquarters. And you know. Hydra's too." I told him bending into a walkover.

"Wait seriously?" Zari asked going into a handstand. I nodded at her before backflipping.

"Wow." Mumbled Annie.

I sat down and stretched watching as Luke did a back handspring.

I always liked watching him do tricks. He was a lot more flexible then I was.

He saw me watching and pulled me over. "What are you doing?" I laughed.

"Teaching you how to do a back handspring." He smiled.

"I know how to do a back handspring. You forget I was the one who taught you." I said crossing my arms.

"No. Jamie thought me. You just helped." He mumbled the last part making me laugh again.

"Uh huh."

"Shut up! Just do it. Besides you should practice." I rolled my eyes at him but did what he said anyways.

I bent into a back handspring. It was quick and fast. And then my foot slipped when I landed.

"Not. A. Word." I said in a threatening voice.

I looked up at Luke who was holding in laughter. "I wasn't going to say anything." He smiled.

"Yeah whatever." I groaned standing up and brushing off my shorts.

"Alvight! Line up!" We all quickly got in line at the sound of Doctor Marzmen's voice.

"You vill preform your routines for me." He said in his thick German accent as he walked in.

We were all waiting in practice room. We were working on our flexibility and agility.

"Youngest to oldest." He called.

Deep breath. You got this.

I walked past Annie, Zari, and Luke on my way to the padded section of floor.

I looked at Luke and he gave me a reassuring smile.

Music started and I followed along. Dancing and flipping my way through the song.

Backflip. Back handspring. Backwards roll. Side flip. Aerial. Split leap. Jump into forward roll.

I kept going with the music. Doing a combination of gymnastics, cheerleading, and ballet.

From a young age we were taught all these things and more.

I finished with my legs in different directions in the air while I held myself up with my hands.

I let myself fall and I stood up. Gracefully might I add.

You make it look clumsy or off balance, or a ton of other things, and you risked getting punished.

I heard the doctor grunt. But whether it was a good grunt or a bad grunt I didn't have time to worry about. "Next." He simply said in his gruff voice.
