Hollywood boulevard.
(Sam's POV)

I scanned the ground for Chloe. If she was drugged, someone was looking for her. I heard a bunch of screams and spotted where they were coming from.

I took off from the rooftop I was perched on and flew down to the ground. As I walked people moved out of my way.

When I saw Chloe on the ground I ran over to her. She was breathing. She looked fine. But the way she spoke after she was drugged still bothered me. It was like she knew something bad would happen.

"Cap, you're wanna get here as soon as possible. I gave a bad feeling." I said looking at the bystanders.

"I need everyone to clear the area. Now." I said to a cop who had come over.

He nodded and started pushing people back.

I knelt by Chloe again and her eyes suddenly opened. "Chloe. Chloe are you okay?" I asked her.

She stared at me and that's when I noticed what was wrong.

Her eyes were a different color.

Instead of hazel, they were black.

I got off the ground keeping eye contact with her. "Chloe. Talk to me. Snap out of it." I said as she got off the ground as well.

"Come on. Focus, Chloe! It's me!" I said trying to keep her attention on me and not anyone else.

"Cap you need to get here. Now." I told him.

"I'm on my way. Just keep her focused on you." He responded.

"What do you think I've been trying to do?!" I yelled as Chloe ran at me.

I dodged her punch and kicked her in the back. "Chloe! It's me! It's Sam! You gotta stop!" I tried to reason with her.

"I don't want to stop." She spoke; but it wasn't her voice.

She ran at me again but this time when I tried to move I couldn't. I looked at my feet and saw black mist swirling around them.

Great.

I felt her fist collide with my jaw. And man did she have one heck of a right hook. It hurt!

I stumbled backwards into a few people and they screamed.

I heard someone yell and Chloe turned. I got up and saw her stalking towards a boy with glasses and a bad haircut, who was standing with a few other kids.

He kinda looked like me at that age.

"Chloe! I'm the one you're supposed to be fighting! Remember? Why go after some kid?" I yelled and she turned to look at me.

"Because," She started to levitate off the ground.

"It's so much more fun." She laughed.

I watched as she started going towards the kid when something hit her and she went flying.

I turned to see Cap walking to us frowning. "Go!" I told the kids and they ran.
