You walked into the mall with a hesitant stride. What if he forgot about the date? What if he picked up a prettier girl during his shift? You quickly snapped out of your nervous thoughts when the scoops ahoy parlor came into sight. You were not about to ruin this night with those thoughts.

You placed your hands inside your denim jacket and began to walk with a certain confidence that you had shown the night before. The events of last night replayed in your head as you neared closer and closer to the parlor. You had listened to that AC/DC album on full blast on your Walkman. Steve was right, it was amazing. Even if it wasn't, you would've still come. The whole idea of going on a date with Steve Harrington had been too enticing for you to resist.

You stepped into Scoops Ahoy with a bright smile, the girl at the counter returning it shyly.

"Hi, is Steve here? I'm- uh supposed to meet him." You said hesitantly, trying to sound like you weren't wondering whether or not he had decided to ditch.

"Ohhhh, so you're the girl from the record store that Dingus can't seem to shut up about. He's so enchanted by you he hasn't even looked at the girls who came in here today." She said with a laugh, making all your nerves suddenly disappear. You could tell you and this girl were going to get along just fine.

"Robin, for the love of God you just met her and you're already making me look like an idiot." Steve said as he exited the back room with a huff. You smiled brightly at him, giggling at their antics. He had changed out of his Scoops Ahoy uniform and into a red sweater and jeans. Simple, but he made just about everything look drool worthy. "I guess you liked the album." He said slyly as Robin began taking an order, looking disappointed that she didn't have the chance to embarrass Steve even more.

"The album was great, but I actually came for the free movie." You quipped, making Steve's eyebrows raise playfully. There it was again, that same witty confidence from you that made him feel this burning electricity.

"Is that right? I thought it had something to do with me being involved." He shrugged with a cocky grin. He led you threw the back door of Scoops Ahoy before you could respond to his comment, and led you down a long hallway towards the back entrance of the theatre. You both stepped in quickly, making your way into the showing of The Breakfast Club with a fit of laughter, earning some serious dirty looks as you took your seats.

"Shh, Steve you're gonna get us in trouble." You whispered faking concern. He rolled his eyes with a smile as he sat down next to you and the movie began to play. You were not aware of Steve's constant need to joke about every scene in movies however, and it earned even more dirty looks and shushes as the movie continued. Even more annoyingly, he would whisper them to you, making you get goosebumps every time he would whisper in you ear. He knew this too, always smirking triumphantly when you would shift with a shiver. As he leaned towards you to make yet another joke, you lost just about all your patience. The constant butterflies every time he would say something were getting to you. So, you acted out of complete impulse, and smashed your lips into his.

He suddenly tensed as your lips collided with his, but regained composure and began to kiss you back, letting the electricity take control. Luckily, you were towards the back of the theatre, so you wouldn't receive even more glares from your fellow movie goers.

You pulled away suddenly, snapping him out of your trance. He pouted his now swollen lips as you returned your eyes towards the movie with a triumphant smile. For the first time in his life, Steve Harrington was left speechless, and it ignited his interest even more. For the rest of the movie he was silent, now and again he would look to you and try to grab your attention. But you were determined to leave this boy on his toes.

You leaned towards him and rested your head on his shoulder, feeling his heart begin to race. You weren't sure where this confidence came from, and he wasn't sure why it was having such a big effect on him. Usually, girls came easy to him. He always knew what to say and do, but you left him constantly wondering. Even more confused because he couldn't get enough of that feeling, of you.

John Bender threw his hand in the air as the movie came to an end, Steve doing the same making you roll your eyes and laugh. Exiting the theatre you couldn't help but wonder how he was feeling. You both made your way towards his care singing "Don't You Forget About Me" obnoxiously, laughing at yourselves.

"You know Steve I had a really good time tonight." You said as you entered the passenger side, him holding the door for you even though you told him you were perfectly capable of doing so yourself. He smiled softly at you, a blush rising to his cheeks as he strapped himself in.

"Yeah I guess it was worth all the glares from the pre teens."

"Only because you wouldn't stop talking throughout the movie!" You said with a laugh as he rolled his eyes playfully.

"Yeah well I guess I should talk too much a lot more with the way you shut me up." He quipped casually making you blush crimson. He turned to you and laughed watching you try to hide your cheeks. He pulled up to your house and you couldn't help but feel sad. You had wanted this night to last forever.

"You know.... I'm uh. I'm off tomorrow too in case you wanted to-." He began nervously, trying to sound casual.

"I would love to Steve." You said leaving his BMW with a quick kiss to his cheek. As you entered your front door you turned to see him smiling widely to himself, still holding his cheek where you had left the electricity.
