I felt relieved, when I read his message. John still wanted to text me and even offered his help! He didn't leave me!
Me:
I feel so lonely right now. Can I call you? I just want to know that someone listens to me and understands me.
You don't have to say anything. I just want to hear your breath and know of your presence. I promise, I don't even know any idol right now and I will keep this as a secret.
Suddenly my phone started ringing and startled me. I picked up the call.
John didn't say anything, I just heard his regular breath.
"Uh, yeah, hi John.", I started quietly and insecure. "I'm sorry to disturb you, but I just feel so lonely and empty and I need someone who listens to me, I'm sorry that I bother you with my personal problems and- oh my god- maybe I disturb you right now with your work, I'm sorry, maybe it's better if I end the call, just to make sure that you can-"
"Calm down." A deep and soothing voice interrupted my rambling and I stopped, feeling the calming effect of his voice. "Take a deep breath. It's okay, I finished work for today anyway."
"I really like your voice.", I blurted out without filtering my thoughts. Then I facepalmed.
From the other side I heard a deep chuckle.
"Thank you very much.", he said.
"I'm sorry, I'm just completely exhausted.", I explained to him.
"Do you want to tell me what happened?"
"Do you remember that I texted you of the girl that approached me in university? And how we became friends? Well, I found out that she betrayed me and just used me for her own benefit because I'm rich and the best in university."
"Hm." That was the only thing I heard from him. He seemed to think a minute. "Try to stay away from her. She isn't worth to be near you. You are an amazing person, you don't need people like this around you."
His words were so precious that I wanted to catch them before they vanished and lock them in my heart to always remember.
John started to speak again. "Maybe you should go to sleep now. I know this won't let the problems disappear, but please go to sleep. Maybe your thoughts will become clearer."
"Can you stay at the phone until I'm asleep?"
"Of course."
I listened to his regular breath that calmed me down. When I was in the verge of sleeping, I heard him singing a song with his beautiful, deep and soothing voice.

This song was expressing my whole situation and I felt so understood and comforted by this song, that I wanted to fight the sleepiness and stay awake until the song ended. I managed to get to hear the whole song.
After he ended, I only heard Johns breath and sleep overtook me. In my last thoughts before sleeping I mentally thanked the universe for sending me someone like John.
