"Mom! Mom you have drive me to the local hospital right now!!" I shout running down the stairs. "sshhhh youre waking up Adam, why?! You're making me scared, what happened?" my mom says "It's my gir- My friend, uhm Billie do you remember her? She got attacked or something, Zoe just called and told me, she sounded pretty upset.. I need to visit her!" I say. "Mel it's 12.08 am you should go to bed and get some sleep, then we can visit her tomorrow, okay?" My mom says trying to calm me down. "Mom please I just want to see her" I beg. "No melody" my mom says "But you can just drop me off at the hospital and I will be fine" I say. "Melody I'm on my way to bed and so are you, there's nothing to discuss" my mom says walking to the bathroom. "But I-" she cut me off by closing the door behind her. Shit. I get back to my room. I'm going to visit Billie tonight. Somehow.

I say goodnight to my mom and go back to my room again. Now I just have wait for her to fall asleep.

———————————————————————— I sneak out of the house, luckily without getting busted. I look for Zoe. There she is.
"Great the you could make it Mel" Zoe says "Of course!" I say getting in. "You were the first person she asked for when she woke up" Zoe says. "Oh.. Billie" I say quietly. "You're the first person who has ever reached into her heart that deep.. she's a different person around you, she's less stressed and a more soft and caring version of herself, I appreciate seeing my best friend like that again thank you mel" Zoe says. "Uhm you welcome I guess... I love Billie more than anything I just wanna be there for her" I say. "We all will" Zoe says. "What happened?" I ask "I think it's better if Billie tells you herself..." *at the hospital*
"Bye mel, it was nice talking to you" Zoe says. "Bye Zoe thank your for calling" I say I get inside the hospital, it's huge.
"Hi I'm here to visit Billie" I say to the secretary. "Yes what's their full name?" She asks. "Uhm Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell" I say. "Oh miss O'Connell.. a well known visitor here. Floor 5, room 7" she says. "Thank you" I say
I wonder why she said that Billie is a "well known visitor" here... what is that even supposed to mean?
I take the elevator to floor 5. Now I just have to find room 7. There.
I carefully knock at the door. No answer. I decide to walk in. And there she is. Peacefully resting in her hospital bed. I sit down beside of her. "I'm here now baby" I whisper while grabbing her hand. It's all bruised and cold. "Billie..." I say to myself feeling a tear sliding down my cheek. "Mel.." she says and open her eyes "Yes Billie I'm here with you" I say holding her hand a little tighter. "I'm sorry.." she says looking at me. "For what baby?" I say "I got in a fight.. a bad one" Billie says "Yeah I see how bad is it?" I ask. "It will heal.. I only sprained my ankle and knee, and I fucked up my shoulder but that's all" Billie says. "Jesus Christ Billie" I say shaking my head. "Mel.. I'm so so sorry for not telling you this, but I don't want you to get hurt.." Billie says sitting up. "Just tell me.. Please don't lie to me.." I say. "I'm a part of a gang.." Billie says "Wait a gang? Like you're criminals and rob banks and stores?" I say "Nah not anymore, we've lost too many members for that. Right now we have competition. It's another gang called "The Rippers" they want to be the only gang in this area.. and i owe Jack some money.." Billie explains. "But why would I get hurt? And I don't want you to get hurt again Billie.." I say "It's who I am mel... they threatened by saying that if I didn't fight for this area, they would hurt you..." Billie says. "Let me help" I say "I don't know how they know about you" Billie says. "Let me help Billie" I say. "With what?" Billie says "Getting rid of those rippers" I say. "But mel... as I said. I don't want you to get hurt and the gang is bad company, I am bad company..." Billie says "No billie I love and respect you and I can learn to fight" I say.
