Chapter 29: Prom.... with a detail

Billies POV

Melody found her dress a few days ago, I don't know if it's going to match me to be honest but I know she's gonna look hot as fuck anyways.

I've had plenty of outfits I've wanted to go with. Not because it's prom and I have to look a specific way cause I don't really care about that. I'll wear what I feel like is comfortable.
But I've found this one, which is fire.
Prom is in 1 hour so I needa get ready.

I'll just put on some mascara, Aquaphor, blush, and darken and brush my brows a little.

I'll wear this because it looks cool as fuck...
I got a weird feeling in my stomach, almost like a bellyache because of what my brother and I did a few days ago..
Whatever I try not to think about it and just enjoy my night with Mel...... and the others.

*one hour later*

I pull up in the front melodys house.

Melodys POV

Melodys outfit:

There she is, I can't wait to see what crazy stuff Billie chose to go with.
I'm going to introduce Billie as my prom date to my family who thought I didn't have one.
I'm kinda scared of how they're going to react.
"Melody, Billie is here" my mom shouts
I walk down stairs in my prom dress and night heels which is way more difficult than what I thought it would be.
"What is she doing here?" My mom asks
"I'll explain" I say and rush to the front door.
Before she get to knock I open the door.
"oh hey—" Billie says widening her eyes
"Damn baby you keep feeding me" she says
Without saying anything I place a big warm kiss on her lips.
"Wow what was that about?" She says smirking
"Come with me" I say grabbing her hand dragging her with me into the living room where my parents and Adam are.
"Mom, dad, Adam. This is my prom date and girlfriend Billie" I say taking a deep breath.
"What did you say?" My mom says
"I'm not joking" I say keeping a straight face.
"I thought you would say something interesting" Adam says facing his iPad again. I'm surprised he didn't start making fun of me.
My mom is starring straight into the empty air.
"Congrats sweetheart I'm happy you finally found happiness" my dad says and hugs me. "Thanks dad" I say feeling my heart starting to beat normally again
"Take good care of her" he says facing Billie
"Don't worry mr. I do" Billie says
I hold her hand a little tighter smiles at her.
She smiles back, I am so in love..

"I- I don't even know what to say, Mel.. I'm very proud of you I am" my mom finally says
"Thanks mom.."
"As long as it's making you happy.. you have my full support" she says and smiles at me
"I love you" I say hugging her.

"Babe it's late we needa go" Billie whispers
"Omg yes of course, bye mom and dad" I say
"Bye sweetie" my mom says.

"Now, can I tell you how fucking sexy you look, look at your fine ass what the fuckkk we finna meet up at the bathrooms" Billie says wrapping her arms around me.
"Billie!!" I say
"What? How can I help it when you dare looking this hot" Billie says looking innocently at me.
"your outfit is so cool I'm proud to call you my girlfriend, officially" I say
"Me too, how's the lesbian life?" Billie asks
"As long as it's with you it's amazing" I say and kiss her.
"I love you babe" Billie says
"I love you too" I say
"Now get yo fine ass in the car" Billie says opening the door for me
"I will" I say stepping in.

*at prom*

I think I've been dancing my feet off.
Prom king and queen are going to be revealed in a few minutes and I'm very excited, I've been working hard to pin down Milana just this one time to show her I'm not one to mess with.

"This years prom king and queen are....."
Alex says from the small stage.
"Wait... it has changed this year, it's two queens and two kings go lgbt and they are not each other's prom dates!!!" He shouts
"Okay sorry.. the kings of this years prom is.. Jonathan and... me?!" He says looking very surprised
Since the first days of school I've always known that Alex had a crush on Jonathan.. and this makes me so happy.
They get their crowns and an applause.
"Now to the queens of this years prom is... MELODY!!! And..."
I get so excited
"Come here" Billie says pulling me close into her whispering "I knew that you could do it".
"Thank you baby, now we just need your name to be said" I say.

"...and, MILANA"
"What?!!!" I can feel my jaw drop 6 ft down.
"It's okay baby you got this" Billie says
I get up on the stage and revive my crown. And so does Milana. I can see Melanie and Josie cheering from the middle of the dance floor, I smile at them.
"You really thought huh?" Milana whispers
"Save it milana" I say not facing her

I get down.

"You know you'll always be my queen baby" I say looking at Billie
"Nah babe a hot queen like you need a king" Billie corrects me and kisses me roughly.

Billies POV

It's late night I'm tired as hell.. melody have been gone for some time and so has Melanie and Josie, I wonder what they're up to.
I've just been hanging with a few of my friends.

"Billie fucking Eilish" someone says I turn around and face melody.
"What baby what's wrong" I say getting worried

"You never told me you where famous!" She says
"Me? Famous? Huh?" I say
"Look 500 thousand views on SoundCloud! That's huge baby!" She says

Finn and I tried to record a song he made about a video game we used to play when we were way younger called "ilomilo" he asked me to cover it and, my stupid ass said yes, he's in a band that's why he's so good at producing the whole soundtrack and shit. I actually love singing, but talking about it makes me feel weak..
He must've published it in my name.
"How'd you know it's me?" I ask
"Uploaded by Billie Eilish, that must be you" she says
"Shit... please don't tell anybody especially not anyone from the gang, only you my family, drew and Zoe knows about my passion for singing.." I say
"But baby you're talented, you could get hella famous for it!" Mel says
"I know but now is not the time" I say
"Okay I won't say anything" melody says
"Thanks baby"
