After a day of travel, Itachi and Kisame caught on their trail. Cautious of Jiraya, and of what Y/n might be capable of, they kept their distance. Waiting for a moment of weakness to strike.

And then they stopped at an outpost town to 'crash'. "Master Jiraya, we shouldnt stop he-"
Y/n was immediately cut off by Jiraya and Naruto making heart eyes at a woman in the entrance.
'Ugh, men... wait... shes the one under genjustu.'

Jiraya straightened himself up, handed Naruto the room key, instructing Y/n and him to go up to the room, train, then go to bed.
Naruto and Y/n immediately protested for opposite reasons. Naruto didnt like being ditched so Jiraya could have 'fun' and Y/n knew what was going to happen.

"We can't, hey! Master Jiraya! Shes under genjustu, you have to stay! Jira- And he's gone, great."

Naruto looked to Y/n quizzically, "What do you mean? What's going on? I cant believe he ditched us."
"I- uh, let's just head up to the room."

'So long as we can keep 1 step ahead of them, we'll be fine, just enough to throw off his rhythm with no room for correction.'
'Exactly, Jiraya was always going to go off with that woman.'
'I know... Argh this is so frustrating.'

Naruto and Y/n immediately started training, well Naruto was making shadow clones while Y/n was pacing scared out of her mind, searching her visions for every possible outcome. Worst case scenario she and Naruto were both taken, most of them she was. 'Is this what Dr. Strange felt like during Infinity War.'
'One would imagine so. I'm sorry but you'll have to do this on your own you know. Your attacks will hold out fine if you don't waste your chakra, be smart.'
'Five minutes'

"Naruto?"
"Yeah?"
"The second we hear a knock on the door you make two shadow clones, turn one into me, and have them open the door after we go out the window. Do not make a sound, dont even breathe loudly. Then we find Pervy Sage."
"What? Wh-"
"Do not ask questions, this is life and death, you understand?"
"Okayyy, you're acting really weird."

'Ugh my visions aren't coming in clearly.'
'You're still learning and right now you're panicking, I've helped clear them up in the past. But I cant help right now. Nor can I tell you what'll happen, if I do and you dont see it, it won't.'
'Can you just duck out then?'
'Alright, just calm your breathing. They're here.'
Two knocks pulled Y/n out of her thoughts as she jumped and put her hand over her mouth to stop her quiet shriek.

Naruto of course immediately forgot what Y/n said about the knocking, thinking it was Jiraya, he grabbed the key and walked towards the door.
"Hold on did she dump you already?"
"Naruto don't!"
She grabbed his arm as he unlocked the door to Itachi Uchiha.
"You really should have listened to her."

His piercing red eyes froze them in place. 'Oh god.'
"Ha, hard to believe that two children carry two of the most powerful of teh tailed beasts in existence, the nine tailed fox and the forty five tailed dragon." Kisame mused walking into view.

"Naruto, Y/n, you're coming with us..."
Y/n and Naruto stood there frozen, too startled to move or speak. The shear amount of power radiating off Itachi was paralyzing.
Itachi spoke again, understanding they were too stunned to speak..
"Why dont we take a walk."

And Y/n and Naruto's legs seemed to move on their own, walking out of the room and into the hallway.
"Hey, Itachi, it'll be a pain if these two make a run for it, why don't I chop off a leg or two."
Y/n inhaled sharply as Kisame gripped Samehada. He took one look at the scared expression on her face and laughed. "The little heiress of the once great L/n clan, a fairytale, a legend, but look at you, you won't give us trouble will you? No. The nine tailed brat however..."
