i couldn't believe it was true, where did all this come from? why me, why when we fight he says some cute shit and make me have butterflies in my stomach? wait, why am i feeling like this? how did i not see this coming? hector was right, he likes me. what the fuck.
i don't even know why i was crying but once he said all he did, made me think of all the things he's done to be in my presence. he really was catching feels for me. this is absolutely crazy... how could i be so dense?
"i think i like him too.." i said once i walked inside my house. my mom turned around and faced me. "what?" she questioned. "mattia said that he likes me." i said. she got up from the couch and came to me grabbing the flowers and snacks from my hand and put them on the counter so we could talk.
"pues que paso, i thought you guys didn't like each other?" she said. "i did too, i thought he was with jenna honestly." i said. "well mija, sometimes when it comes to different things you tend to not notice things." she told me. i nodded agreeing with her.
"what do i do? i don't know for sure if i like him." i said. "that's something i can't tell you to do, listen to your heart, it wants what it wants." she said. "now i'm exhausted, i need to sleep. goodnight mija" she said. "goodnight ma" i replied.
i thought about the words she told me "listen to your heart, it wants what it wants." how long could that possibly take? how do i know if i actually like him?
