I heard her exhaled the moment we got here in the balcony at the third floor of the house.
I looked at her directions
"We can see everything all the way up here" when she noticed that I didn't answer she look my way and she caught me staring at her "right?"
We just smiled at each other then averted my gaze from her and just look down to see everyone.
We fell silent.
Music, people laughing and chatting with each other are the only thing that can be heard.
I looked at her sideways.
Then she looked at me too then smiled as wide as she can
"Kanina mo pa ako ninanakawan ng tingin.. should I be scared of you now?"
"What do you mean?"
"Para kasing you're plotting something to me, you know?" she giggle a bit
"Bakit mo naman nasabi yun?"
"I mean, it's just a joke" she let out small giggles again
"If I'm really plotting something to you, what do you think it would be?" I just ride on her jokes
Napatingin siya sakin. She stared at me while thinking what would be my possible plot to her
"hmmmm..." she puts her index finger to her chin "that you'll gonna rip off my heart out of my chest?"
The moment I heard what she said. Something came up to my mind. The patch that she has on her chest.
"Speaking of heart, can I ask you something?"
"Sure" She went closer to me "what's up?"
"I saw that patch on your chest nung sinugod ka sa clinic so I'm just wondering kung ano yan?" I asked her carefully
"Okay lang kung ayaw mong sagutin" pahabol ko pa
"Well it's a pacemaker" she continue explaining nung di ako umimik "Its a device that being placed in your chest or abdomen to helps control abnormal heart rhythms"
"Abnormal heart rhythms?" I curiously asked
"I have arrhythmia. It means that my heart doesn't beat just how normal hearts do. My heart could beat irregular, too slow or too fast" she explained "it's not that harmful tho I mean as long as I have pacemaker I'm fine" she smiled at me
"What will happen if you don't have that thing?"
"Then maybe I'll get dizzy or I'll faint or loss of consciousness all the time hahaha" she jokingly said "I have a weak heart you know that's why I need to have my bestfriend here, which is the pacemaker so that I won't have any heart problems"
"You shouldn't let your heart break then"
"Well it's part of living tho. I mean yung ma heartbroken? Kahit na anong pilit mong alagaan ang puso mo di mo pa rin maiiwasang di mabasag ito"
I softly smiled at her remarks
"Should we go downstairs?" she asked me "Baka hinahanap ka na ni ally"
"Yeah let's go"
While we're taking our way downstairs I just feel the need to pee so I excused myself
"Gusto mo samahan na kita? I mean I'm about to pee din eh"
So we ended up going to the toilet room together.
Ako yung naunang matapos so hinantay ko na lang siya sa labas ng toilet room para sabay na kami bumababa.
While I was waiting for her may narinig akong ungol.
I saw a room na nakaslightly open. Baka dun nanggagaling yung tunog. I said to myself
I just shrugged the first time I heard it.
Pero it bothers me nung tuloy tuloy yung ungol kaya naman I slowly went to the slighty open room para iclose ito.
I was about to close it ng mahagip ng dalawang magagandang mata ko ang ginagawa ng dalawang tao sa loob.
I'm not even shocked sa ginagawa nila in fact na shocked ako sa dalawang taong gumagawa ng kababalaghan.
Believe me when I say that I really know those two certain person inside the room.
"Krystal?" I heard thea called me so I just leave the door open and went to her direction
"Hey"
"Hey"
"Where were you?" Sumulyap pa siya dun sa room na open
"Ah wala may tiningnan lang ako"
"Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"Somebody's getting laid tonight"
Tumawa pa siya
"Yeah" I just agree to what she said
"Wait" she was about to go to THAT room so I stopped her quickly by blocking her way
"Where you going?" I asked her
"I just wanted to make silip"
"No, just leave those people alone"
"I'm not gonna even barge in. I just wanted to make silip nga lang" thea insisted
Pero di ko siya hinayaan.
Knowing what she told me earlier about her condition. About her heart?
No. I'm not gonna let her break her heart tonight.
I mean malalaman din naman niya to soon pero wag ngayon. Wag muna.
She's happy at this moment so I don't wanna ruin it.
Maybe sa tamang panahon.
