Olive twiddled her fingers, sitting in that hospital bed.

For some reason, it lost its sense of comfort, feeling as hard and stiff, rather than a soft and thin "mattress".

Her stomach rumbled more as she waited for that man to come back.

She simply couldn't get over how he was the same in the visions he had. She didn't even know that she could see those. She wondered if she should mention it to someone.

Maybe not, as they might transfer her to a mental ward, and she refused to go anywhere near those places.

Suddenly her wolf friend came back to thought. All this time, she had been sitting here, hoping for a slight bark, or the steady drop of a firm mask. But she had not. Perhaps, they had moved him to another room?

Another floor?

Perhaps.

She messed with the bandages once more, now noticing the ones around her hip and left leg. She could still see the black spots on it, yet they were more faint. She wondered why. She tried to lean to that funny beeping machine. The lines beeped quicker and made more funny zigzags. She liked that.

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

Olive blew her purple hair out of her eyes, frustrated. She did not want to be in this silent place. If they took care of Kedamono, then fine. But that didn't mean her, too!

She wanted to take the crazy wires connected to her wrist and neck off and go roam the halls. Look in other rooms or something.

Beep-

She heard footsteps towards her room, a chill running down her spine.

A hand opened the door. Oh, it was just that same man again.

But he had food!

Olive could not resist licking her lips at the tray he was holding. It smelled good. The man closed the door, sullen eyes still intact.

He set the tray down by the table and bent down by Olive's bed looking to the bottom side of it. She heard little clicks and clanks by it, and not able to control her curiosity, peeped down at what he was doing.

She heard grunts from him as his fingers were pulling and clicking something. A.. table?

More like a make- shift table top.

He unfolded the stiff hard plastic thing and set it so it rested a few inches above Olive's lap. He stopped until it was to his liking and looked up.

Olive and his eyes locked together.

Those dark blue, ocean eyes. Except it wasn't those oceans you'd play in at the beach. It was a nasty blue and green ocean. The type of ocean with plastic shopping bags floating in it. With soda can wrappings and candy bar plasters in it. The ones where people film those supernatural shows about paranormal feelings and sightings. The ocean where there's police tape, marked "DO NOT CROSS" surrounding everywhere. The ocean that resulted in several deaths over the years due to alleged sharks and jellyfishes.

Yeah, that type of ocean.

Olive had something to contrast with that in her eyes. Yes, those lightly saturated green things. Those things the same things that were on the branch of a tree that Athena held in Greek mythology. Her eyes were of a beach with murky green water. It wasn't as bad, but it still needed cleaning. A beach that people swam out a bit too far on. An ocean where there are friendly dolphins and seals in need of being transported to a new habitat to survive.
