He has changed.

He didn't change a lot, but that's what he, Pavol, his sister, his mirror friend and everyone else thought.

"You know what? That is my name. Call me that."

And upon hearing that, she smiled and the whole room became sunshine for him.

The dark and moldy walls the man could tolerate, as they seemed to revert back to their spotless creme color. The sun's rays extended warmly onto them, and that urged the doctor to smile back. He mouth creased up, and soon some teeth were shown, and the both of them were smiling and they both loved it and-

Overall, just happiness swarming everywhere in the room, in every nook and cranny.

The dark hole in his heart wasn't completely purified, but it felt lighter. Lighter, as if Olive was carrying some of the pain he had on her back as well.

Their hands didn't separate as Olive felt shocked at his sudden admission. She was definitely going to take advantage of the name "Doctor man" , but he felt different, even more so open like she just unlocked another of his several doors to the heart. Man, she wished Pavol were here to see. Pavol would be proud of her, right? All Olive knew is that within this room, laid content and affection. The drastic things that reached out in and beyond Kokowata Town could not reach them.

'Okay, doctor man.'

He smirked anxiously faded to a half one , knowing that she was going to wear and stretch out the name like a label.

"That letter of yours.."

She perked up, listening to him.

"You were saying that I got a letter?"

Olive nodded eagerly, surprised that he was still concerned about it.

"What was in it?"

And as soon as he finished his sentence, she started to make out the emphasized explanation where Olive used big hand movements while attempting to sign out to the man what she wrote. She told him about how she felt sorry, thinking that she causes the trauma. She told him about Pavol, and how she was really nice, and how she even taught Olive the word "anyways". She told him about how she wanted to know his favorite food, and that she wanted he and him to hang out together.

And of course, during this time, the man was overwhelmed with everything he had heard, and how he had to keep up with her hands, but he managed. He wondered why he didn't receive it. Based on what Olive was telling him, he was probably asleep at the time, him a practically narcoleptic man. His sister was awake, however, so he thought to inquire her about it when he got home this very day. He did, however crack a smile at the part she thought she caused his trauma. The man felt kind of guilty, just leaving and sending in a substitute nurse. He didn't even get to tell her anything.

"You think I left because of you?"

She nodded accordingly, the grasp slipping. His heart started to melt at the sight, so he thought to say another thing.

"I didn't. I was...sick."

I mean, he technically wasn't lying. Just playing with the truth.

Olive thought it was kind of ironic and humorous for him, a doctor to get sick and stay home like a child.

The man didn't feel the need to explain his condition to her, he wanted that cute and eager smile to remain on her face.

'Oh. Okay! But what about food?'

He rubbed his chin, thinking. He did like traditional food. And he did like sour things things, unlike his past self. However, if it was one thing he liked, he loved spicy shit. For example-

"Ramen."  , he stated to her, interrupting his own thoughts.

She made a laughing action, wondering why she didnt assume that earlier. All she saw him eat, since they met was ramen. And coffee.

She tugged his shirt, puffing up her cheeks in a pout, kinda feeling the same way Marifa did when she first opened this man's kitchen cupboards. And if you'd look in them, you'd find microwave products, questioning how he maintained his hunger.

'Is that all??'

He smirked, not blaming her.

"Yeah, I don't eat much."

...

"What, that's not healthy?"

He enjoyed watching her blow up at his carefree reguards. He didn't often joke with people, mostly known for getting on to work, doing what he had to do, and then getting the hell out, but he could tolerate the hours with her around. Quite amusing she was.

Pavol's been sitting at the desk, completely engulfed in a contemplative mode right now. Shes deciding how to bring up the departure thing to him. It's been a good five or ten minutes, yes? But she's still stuck. She knows Gridette will probably inquire her about, her being the good coworker that she is, but Pavol isn't trying to rush anything. Who knows how far the man and Olive have gotten in the span of these days? And not to mention that auburn. Something about her didn't sit right with Pavol, but still, she didnt want to seem like a jerk and give the wrong impression. So she decided to keep to herself about that. For now.

She herself was kind of curious on how Olive was doing. And if that letter really did anything. Did it?

Ah, to hell with it, thought to herself. She couldn't worry now, maybe over her lunch break in an hour. Instead, she picked up a book that focused herself on mindfulness and settled down. She wasn't leaving here for another eight hours. She might as well find a way to pass the time. While reading, however, she did think about the aftermath of things, after literally just telling herself to relax. Where would Olive go? And the fact that she was sure that Olive had entered here with somebody else just occurred to her as well. For some reason, when she checked the entry logs and documents, there was nothing. No evidence. It had just stated that Olive had entered by herself.  Pavol knew that wasn't true, so she might ask Griddette about it later. And if it was who Pavol thought it was, then it would complicate things even further.

Gee, what a thought-filled afternoon. Not one of Pavol's relaxing days, but she'd seen better. One that didn't include a black haired brat, and a mysterious auburn.
