The auburn sighed, leaving the subject.
"Fine, but one day, you're going to answer the question."
Olive didn't want to laugh, instead she flopped back down on her bed.
How long would it be until Doctor man came back?
. . .
(*coughs and cries in i had a hard time writing this chapter, wtf*)
Today feels...odd.
Nobody really knows how to feel, and everything is chaotic, I may say..?
Anyways, it's been a while. Literally.
Well, not really. More like two to three days, but still, it's felt like a while. The weekend had passed and everyone wasn't exactly ready to come back and see each other, after everything that had taken place.
The doctor spent his two days home alone, mostly in the dark, with the occasional phone calls from his sister. He answered most of them. He sulks on the couch, facing forward to, but not really paying attention to the television. Rather, thinking, he was. That moments where their hands touched. And he felt at peace. He liked that.
...
He wants to feel it again. Despite it being 4:36 AM on Sunday. Slowly sitting up and stretching his arms, only to stop because he got offended by the multiple cracks in his back, he gets up and heads to the bathroom.
Standing on the cold tile floor, he rubs the bridge of his nose, sighing. What is going on? Staring at the dusty mirror on the wall, he looks the same on the outside. But on the inside, everything was swirling around. Feelings from his father, his sisters, Pavol, Noma, and especially her.
Damn it.
Why is it always her?
The man sucked his teeth and clutched the cold sink, gazing at the floor.
Her face, her outlook, her touch, even her presence was enough to enlighten him. He could feel his face heat up, and chest swelling.
He knows he wants to feel what he feel with her again , but wouldn't it be nice to focus on something else? Have something else to look forward to in his day, other than pain, getting through the day quickly, getting home, sleeping, and doing the same shit over and over. Wouldn't it be nice to just take her and get it all over with? I mean, he remembers just exactly what he stupidly blurted out to Eepop that day.
...
He sighs.
Despite the overwhelming contradictories, he can't. Not to someone like her.
To be honest, it's neither of their faults. He just needs to fix himself, and get it all acquainted with.
