AN: This was a request by @_RadioRogrina_. I hope you like it!

The cold hair hit us like a ton of bricks each wind break. And now that the sun had set, it made it ten times worse. I walked around in the night silence, moving foxhole to foxhole, checking on all of Easy Company's paratroopers. As one of the few medics of Easy, I had to make sure all the men were healthy and well enough to fight the Germans. Officers included.

I sighed heavily as I walked to each foxhole. It was so goddamn cold. My teeth chattered slightly as I rubbed my arms quickly, trying to make myself warm somehow. Though, it wasn't working much. I winced slightly as the cold wind blew, hitting my body once more. This sucked a shit ton. I finished my round of check-ins and went and made my way over to the foxhole that Roe and Spina, the two other medics, were laying in. My steps crunched slightly whilst I stepped on the icy snow. I glanced at the medics, a small smile forming on my lips as a soft chuckle escaped. The two looked as if they had fallen asleep while counting supplies. Sleep was rare for us medics. It was rare that someone wasn't screaming for us any spare minute of the day and night. Especially here in Bastogne Forest and with the German's none stop artillery fire, the casualties and wounded racked up constantly. And with the more and more wounded and casualties throughout the days and nights, less and less sleep.

My small smile changed slowly into a small frown as I looked down at two boxes of medical supplies. Just two boxes of medical supplies that are to be spared and used among so many men. Well, and one woman, me. But, it was sad to see the few supplies that we could get and spare. Especially, with the German's constantly blowing us to pieces. I sighed slightly, leaving to let them sleep for a little while longer. I yawned, wishing to sleep as well.  Though, at least one medic needed to be up and ready just in case. And I thought that Roe and Spina could use it more than me. So, instead, I just kept making my rounds of walking foxhole to foxhole, checking in on the soldiers.

Soon, I had approached the foxhole of Bull Randleman and Johnny Martin. I swallowed hard and tried to mentally prepare myself. Praying to myself that I wouldn't seem like an idiot and embarrass myself in front of him.  I had been quite fond of Johnny Martin ever since Paratrooper training. We had both became Sergeants as the same time as one another, and he thought I was "quite cool" since I was the first female Paratrooper in the Army.  I always thought he was handsome, but it wasn't until just recently when I found out my feelings towards the man. So, in the moment, I was in a mental panic. The only people that knew about my little crush were, Roe, Spina, and Randleman, my closest friends in Easy Company. I knew they wouldn't tell a soul.

I approached the foxhole, pursing my lips into a thin line. Bull looked up at me and glanced towards Martin, a small smile formed on his face. He gave me a cheeky little wink and I glared at him slightly. Martin sleepily looked up at me, he looked just as drained as I was. Which was lot. I saw Bull looking between the two of us from the corner of my eye.

"You guys holding up okay?" I asked, looking between the two men. I took my helmet off for a second, pulling my loose strands of hair back and placing my helmet back on.  I smiled at them, waiting for the response. I saw the two look at each other, Bull had a smirk on his face, whilst Martin had some glare in his eyes.

"Yeah, I'm all good. I got a question for Roe. I will be back in a little bit," Bull spoke up, standing up  and getting out of the foxhole. As he walked passed me, he winked and patted my shoulder. I blushed slightly, mentally thanking that it was dark out. I looked back at Martin, who was now looking up at me.

"How about you Martin, you doing alright?" I asked softly. Just then a hard gust of wind blew, it sent a big shiver right through my body. My arms immediately wrapped around my torso, trying to create some warmth. I glanced down at the blanket Martin had quickly, wishing I had that. My teeth chattered as I shook my head softly. I looked at Martin who pursed his lips and lifted the blanket up.

"Come here L/N, lets share. You need a break and some warmth, you'll freeze to death!" he said, causing me to chuckle. Though, I took the offer, jumping down into the foxhole. I went and set myself next to him and her placed the blanket over me. We were indeed sharing. And I was indeed blushing up a storm. I gulped slightly, silently wishing to myself that me and the paratrooper were closer together. Though, I needed to distract myself mentally before my thoughts travel.

"Hey, last time I checked, I was the medic here Martin," I joked, earning a hardy chuckle from the man. This brought more heat up to my face and ears. A small smile curling on my face as I looked down at my lap. I still shivered. Not knowing if it was from the cold, or my nerves. I felt his eyes on me, though I just kept my focus on my lap. Trying to avoid his gaze. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see a faint smile. I felt him scoot closer to me, our bodies now touching. I swallowed hard. My face felt like it was on fire. I looked over at him, his smile still on his face. His eyes had something hidden in them, though the darkness of the forest made it hard to tell. I yawned softly, I could totally fall asleep right now.

"Why don't you try to get some rest Y/N, you need it," he said kindly. I wanted to deny it, but I just couldn't. And I was totally not about to turn down the chance of cuddling up with Johnny Martin. I nodded, the sleepiness now filling my body. My eyes grew heavy and I leaned my head on the man's shoulder. Soon, I fell asleep. And it felt nice for once. I even felt a little warm.

What I couldn't see then was the small kiss Martin had placed on my forehead as I slept. His arm wrapped around me. Bull had walked up to the foxhole with Roe and they looked at the two of us smiling. And chuckled when they saw me asleep. Then they went on teasing the male for his obvious liking, and how he was acting. Though, Johnny just waved them off, focusing his attention back on my sleeping stature. A small and soft smile appeared on his face as he looked at me. With a yawn, he laid his head on mine ever so softly. And soon, he had fallen asleep too. Our body heats met, keeping the two of us warm. And how amazing that night's sleep was. Nice and warm, with a guy of my dreams by my side. Just the mental thought that he was cuddled up with me, was good enough reasoning that he had felt the same. It made a warm feeling shoot through my body. It made me forget about the horrors of the war, forget about the artillery strikes, and just feel appreciating and love from someone. Oh how nice it was.

AN: I didn't know how to end it, so I'm sorry if it is weird!
