<Kaycee POV>

The drive back home from the theatre was long like I had expected. Tahani kept pestering me about what had happened between me and Sean.

'T, I told you. We just worked things out. That's it' I said for the nth time.

'Sure... whatever you say K' Tahani said clearly not buying what I had said for the past 20 minutes. 'Although I didn't want Sean to talk to you, there was a plus side to it' tahani said smirking.

'What's the plus side T?' I asked curiously.

Nearly bursting out into a fit of giggles she managed to say ' you should have seen Tate's face, when Sean left to talk to you. She looked so jealous'

'No she did not. She knows well and clear that me and Sean are just friends' I said.

'Maybe but... you guys could be more' Tahani said slyly.

'Shut up T' I said turning on the radio and closing my eyes as I let the music transport me into an alternate universe.

<Sean POV>

Hopping into my car, I noticed that Tate was already inside. She must have gotten sick of standing outside with T.

'Hey' I said smiling before buckling up. No response. Looking over at the girl seated next to me, I asked 'hey, what's wrong?'

'Nothing' she replied coldly.

'Did I do something?' I asked completely unsure of my mistakes.

'What did you and Kaycee talk about?' She blurted out.

'Oh-um. We just patched things up between the two of us.'

'So nothing more?' She asked

'What do you mean by more?' I asked

'So it was just a friendly conversation?'

'Yup' I replied popping the p, while reversing the car out of the parking lot. Taking a quick glance at her, she still didn't look completely convinced. ' you trust me, Right?' I asked.

'Of course I do, I just wanted to make sure' she said leaning into me and giving my arm a cuddle. Looking down at her, her eyes were shining and she looked great. This is why I like her, I thought.

Chuckling to myself, I drove us back to Tate's house.

.

As soon as I pulled into Tate's driveway, Tate's head snapped up as she rubbed her eyes and tried to fix her posture.

'Looks like someone fell asleep on the drive home' I said.

'Shut up Sean' she said continuing to rub her eyes.

'Stop that, your eyes are gonna pop out if you keep on doing that' I said pulling her hands away from her face.

'Hmm...' she replied.

'Well let's get you back home then' I said before getting out of my car and opening the car door for her.

'Thanks Sean for today. It was great' she said.

'Great? It's totally great to have a fight with someone else on your date. Totally' I replied sarcastically.

'Yeah. Sorry about that. I guess I may have went a bit over board with things'

'A bit?' I chuckled.

'Okay, okay. Stop it...Just to make things clear through, there's nothing going on with you and Kaycee right?'
