By the time nightfall came, Amity was more than a little shaken up from Derek's words.
She sat on her bed, remembering those few words he had said before they heard a car and he raced from the room.
"Your grandmother is a werewolf hunter. And the family business is werewolf hunting."
She had let her draw drop, and had watched as Derek raced from her room yelling, "Don't tell her anything!"
And she knew what he meant. Don't tell Lila.
And she had no intention to. She was tired and beyond confused.
So, she played back, and soon fell into a deep sleep.

"Hello, Amity." The wolf in her dreams said. "We've been waiting your return."
She shook her head. "Did you want Derek to tell me about the supernatural? Because he did. He's a shape shifter!"
The wolf nodded. "So you know about everything. Else."
She nodded.
He looked at her eyes, before shaking his head. "No you don't. Not everything."
"What do you mean?"
"Nevermind, young alpha-to-be. Your father is impatiently awaiting your return. The alpha can't wait. . ."
Amity lunged out of her bed and gasped. "Alpha?"
