i landed on my first base and saw another message from the dirty blond haired boy (hated that TwT) why can't i get him out of my head should I respond no dont but i dont want to upset him

~third person pov~

Mumbo flew from his base and headed to the shopping district and found grian in his shop restocking

Mumbo: hi Grian

Grian: hello mumbo how you've been?

Mumbo: I'm good , said mumbo while looking at the shorter boy

"well that's great uh hm can you do me a favor"

"of course anything for my bestfriend " that felt like a stabbing pain in mumbos chest
bestfriend not boyfriend

" can you help me with a storage system I'm a great builder but a failure at redstone" asked grian with sad puppy eyes.

"of course I'll be here waiting when you need me and you not a failure you just need a little help "
grian smiled back with his eyes glistening in the sunlight
mumbos stomach felt like it had butterfly's his face turned redder then grians sweater

~Grians POV~
mumbo said yes ! hes the best redstone engineer ever how did I get this beautiful man to be my friend ?

i saw that mumbo face turned red ?

"what's wrong mumbo are you okay"

"I'm fine "

"okay thanks for everthing"

i headed to my base and I send a message to mumbo telling him good evening <3 he never respond though hurts that my bestfriend and crush doesnt respond.

i left to work on my mansion it took a few hours but worth it at the end I headed back to my base and heard the bell
"MESSAGE FROM MUMBO"

wanna hang out tonight meet at the flower field at 7 :) ~love mumbo

~No ones pov~
grian got ready and headed to the flower field and sat down
mumbo arrived with a small ukulele
and Rose's in his other hand

"hey Grian you actually came "

"of course you spoon why did you bring me here ?"

"i kinda wanna sing you a song just for you "

"okay go ahead"

"Grian i think i love you" mumbo said his face red
"i know you dont feel the same way but i hope this ~
mumbo felt lips against his he closed his eyes and kissed him back ,
"i love you too " Grian replied,

mumbo picked him up spinned him around when he put grian back on the floor grian gave him a hug and stood on his tip toes and kissed mumbos cheek

it started raining

"boo " said grian with a sad look in his face
" you dont like rain?" asked mumbo
~ lighting hits~
grian immediately hugged mumbo
" your scared of lighting ?" asked mumbo

"no not alll okay fine yes um can I stay with you only tonight though"

"yeah of course let's go before you get sick "
mumbo let grian borrow some clothes he changed and found grian in his bed asleep
mumbo got in the bed
"hey your freezing " said mumbo which woke up grian , then mumbo felt hands around his waist it was grian curled up around him mumbo hugged him back and played with grians hair until they both fell asleep
