 My eyes went wide in surprise as I turned back to Leuvis.

They broke his mask! Yes!!

Pepe grabbed a flash bomb and threw it at Leuvis, thinking it was a grenade, so he fell for it.

[ Stop his movements ]

----------Flashback

"Leuvis is a monster. He can't be killed just because you break his mask. Even if his mask is gone, don't let your guard down. The real battle starts then.
Immediately afterwards, you have to take his senses away."

{ No matter how fast the opponent is... they can't move freely if they are blinded.

Leuvis stumbled with the flashbomb, unable to see where he was going.But nonetheless, he hid his face.

We can do it now. We can kill him.

Emma shot at him. But he somehow blocked it.
My eyes widened slightly.

Pepe went at him.
Only to get hurt by Leuvis's hand, cutting his shoulder.

How did Leuvis attack him?! He can't even see
No... he used his hearing to know where he was.

Yuugo decided to go after him, shooting at him.
But he blocked those as well.

I grit my teeth.

Leuvis muttered something with excitement.
The word "excellent", nine times.

"Bwahahaha!! This is exciting!! How many centuries has it been?!"
he exclaimed, then punched a building.

My eyes widened once again.
No... it crumbled down.

I rushed with Emma to Pepe.

Emma helped Pepe to one of the houses.

"Nigel!"
I called out in a whisper.

He turned my way and nodded, heading over to us.
Yuugo and Ray soon also got in the house.

I let out a sigh, starting to help Emma with healing Pepe.

"I'm alive! Alive! Alive! I'm alive and that's wonderful!"
Leuvis yelled.

"Pepe. Pepe! Please wake up,"
Emma called out.

"Emma..."
I muttered, putting my hand on her shoulder.

"Emma. We stopped his bleeding. But we can't do anything beyond that for now. We should leave him here."
Ray said, now next to me.

I looked at him with a relieved smile.
He smiled back, putting his hand in mine.

"Damn it! A monster! He's a complete monster.
We were able to carry out the plan. We broke his mask. The flash bomb worked!"
Nigel said in frustration.

"We're out of ideas. What do we do? How do we defeat him?"
Yuugo muttered.
