I ran my hand through Ray's hair, smiling softly.
"You haven't cut it,"
I said with a chuckle.
He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
"I wanted to keep it long for you... you said you loved it like this,"
he said softly.
"I do... but just do what makes you comfortable,"
I told him with a chuckle.
"As long as you're happy, I'm happy,"
he told me with a chuckle.
My face heated up.
"It's the same for me..."
I said with a chuckle.
Ray smiled brightly, kissing my cheek before nuzzling his head in my neck.
"You're so warm,"
he said softly.
I smiled, then he winked at me with his now visible left eye.
"Ra-"
"Guys, it's growing!"
Emma interrupted us.
"Oh, right,"
Ray said, moving away from me and looking at the vada plant.
"Okay, we're going!"
Emma said with a smile, taking my hand, practically pulling me away from Ray.

I looked around and noticed everyone had disappeared.
"Just as we thought, everyone disappeared,"
Emma said.
"Yeah. So we're here again,"
Ray muttered, looking at the huge door.
"One door..."
"'Here after once you enter you cannot return. If you wish to return, open this door from the other side to go back. Welcome to the entrance.'"
Emma read.

Emma smiled.
"Let's go,"
Ray said.
