reader's POV

We burst into the room.
Only to find...

Nothing.

"No one's here?"
"What?"
"What's going on?"

"Vincent. Vincent, are you there?"
Norman asked.

"Hey there, Norman. It's been a while,"
we were all alarmed, our eyes widening.

I then grit my teeth, my hand clenching into a fist.

"You did pretty well. Decimated Lambda.
Annhilated the Queen and Five Regent Houses.
Disintegrated the Imperial Rule.
You infiltrated Grace Field smoothly too.
Pretty impressive for a child raised to be food,"
Peter said.

I took a deep breath to calm myself.

Norman squeezed my hand.

"But I'm not there. The footage you saw of me there was fake.
Looks like we outwitted you,"
he said.

"Where are Vincent and the others?"
Norman asked.

"They're alive. Here with me,"
Peter answered.

Men burst into the room and aimed a gun at us.
I grit my teeth.

"Yes, that is precisely the situation. The Five here are tied up with guns to their heads.
You lose. The game of rag is over.
We're restoring the system right now. All the locks, including the storage room, are unlocked.
The ones you put to sleep, instead of killing, will wake up soon.
At the Imperial Capital... Sonju and Mujika were captured three days ago. Their execution will begin soon."
he said.

My eyes widened slightly.
No... not them.
I touched my bracelet. Leslie tried to calm me by nuzzling me.

"The citizens saved by Evil-blood have already been killed.
Under the guidance of the Ratri Clan... the four great farms and the retainers of the Five Regent houses have joined to create a council to take over the government.
I'll retrieve Lambda too. Moving forward, these spoiled top-class farms will be demolished... and I'll centralize them in the new Lambda style. I won't let the children have dreams, hopes, their own wills or futures. Rebels like you will never be born.
It'll be a peaceful paradise. I have to thank you. For the world will change, by luck...to the future I want,"
he said.

I took a deep breath, taking my hand away from Norman's.
I bit my nails, it was a bad habit.
I did it when nervous or mad. This time, mad.

"Boss! Everyone! Can you hear me?!"
Vincent.

"That's the situation!! We still have time and the chance to win!! It's not over!!
Shoot! Defeat the enemies before you... and complete the mission! Don't mind us!!
We can't leave the future to these guys!!"
he told us.

My eyes widened slightly.

"No! We're all going to survive together!!"
Norman yelled back.

I smiled softly.

"This is what I want! Keep going!! Norman!!"
Vincent yelled.

then, a gunshot.
My eyes widened more and my stomach fell.

Leslie whined, curling closer to me.

"I'm sick of this. Why don't you understand?
Why do you all disobey me? I am your creater. I'm your dad,"
Peter said.

I scowled.
"You're not my father, you brainless bitch,"
I growled.

(Yuugo and Lucas be cheering in heaven)

Norman looked surprised, Ray simply nodded in agreement, his face red.

"If there were no farms, if the Ratri Clan wasn't around... you wouldn't have been born.
You were fed well. Raised and provided for. Yet you rose against the farms... escaped... and now you come back to destroy us. How foolish and disrespectful."
Peter said.

I so wanted to put a hole through him...

"I'm sick of this rebeliousness!!
Those eyes! They piss me off too! Why won't you admit defeat?!
It's fine. You're all just defects anyway,"
Peter said.

"Kill them all,"
he ordered.

I smirked slightly.
"Dad? You can't be serious. You're not our father!!"
I heard Oliver say. I grinned.
