"let's go on a date," jj said drawing shapes with his fingers on sloane's thigh as they sat on sloane's couch.
"a date?" sloane said confused by his sudden affections.
"yeah why not?" jj said grabbing sloane's hand.
"okay date night it is." sloane said planting a kiss on his cheek.
"what should we do?" jj asked.
"bubba you gotta come up with the date you asked me," she said giggling.
"ohh right yes ma'am." he said standing up and running outside.
"wait where are you going?" she said yelling after him.
"i'll be back at 7 to pick you up." he yelled "i love you!" he said running from the house.
"i love you too!" she said giggling at the childish boy.
sloane looked at herself in the mirror at her messy hair and quickly ran to the shower it was around 5:30 so she had about an hour and a half to get ready. the whole time she was getting ready she couldn't help but smile at the fact that she was happy and that jj maybank was hers. sloane got dressed wearing a light blue silk dress that hugged her body in ways that she didn't even know could exist.

after getting fully ready she went to sit on the porch and wait for jj. she heard what sounded like the twinkie pull up and in her driveway and there stood the boy of her dreams. he was wearing a dress shirt that was unbuttoned slightly showing off his chest and white shorts that showed his tan legs and sloane couldn't help but wonder how she got so lucky.
