Izuku sat there sobbing, Mr. Boms next to him trying to figure out what was wrong. He heard the door creak open.

It was Gavin.

Gavin- "Dad you used to spend so much time with me and now you only spend time with midoriya.

Mr. Boms- "Son im trying to-"

Gavin- "look. Hes so weak. Mom says you shouldnt even bother."

Mr. Boms- "thats not very-"

Gavin- "Why did he even have to come here!? Hes ruining everything!"

Mrs. Boms came up behind him, "Now now Izuku isnt a totally hopeless case. Maybe he can even get a girl. He's pretty cute. Too bad he isnt into girls."

Izuku- "actually I-"

Mrs. Boms- "what? What are you gonna say? Hm? You gay and thats a sin. Period."

Izuku was speechless.

Mr. Boms- "melissa dont rub your beliefs off onto other pe-"

Mrs. Boms- "STOP TELLING ME HOW TO TAKE CARE OF OUR FOSTER KID!!" She yelled.

Izuku flinched.

Mr. Boms- "dont ye-"

Mrs. Boms- "SHUT UP"

Gavin left to go to his bedroom. His parents fighting was a normal occurrence that he didn't enjoy.

Izuku tensed up a bit.

Mr. Boms- "please I dont want to fight-"

Mrs. Boms- slammed the door and stomped away.

Izuku sat there, shaking.

Mr. Boms- "im really sorry Izuku. Things with her have been- rough."

Izuku curled up, "im sorry. Can I be alone for a little bit-?" He asked hesitantly.

Mr. Boms nodded a bit, "here's my phone number by the way ive been meaning to give it to you for any emergencies." He handed him a slip of paper

Izuku nodded numbly taking the paper as Mr. Boms left.

He pulled out the bag and took out his phone, his hands shaking. Why did this keep happening? He just wanted it to end.

Is that so much to ask?

Life is a fragile thing, the slightest off set could ruin it all. And yet here he was, out of all of the messups that he had he was somehow still here.
