Deku woke up the next morning to the soft aroma of pancakes and chocolate milk shifting into his room through the air vents.
Today was the day. The first day with his new therapist. For some reason something wasnt sitting well with him. He felt empty and numb.
He stayed in his room for a bit, listening to music, trying to spark something other than empty sadness.
He got up and walked out to get some food, though he wasn't hungry. He sat down at the kitchen table, Hizashi could already tell something was off.
The loud man sat down in front of his kid. "What's wrong bud? Are you hungry?"
Izuku shook his head, "I'm not hungry... I guess I just don't feel good."
"Physically or mentally?" Mic asked.
"Both.." izuku responded. He felt uneasy with himself, his stomach empty but rejecting the thought of food. Mic nodded to his response, "wanna start with some water? Maybe talk about what's stressing you out?" Izuku nodded a bit.
"Maybe. Thanks..." The boy gave a grateful smile.
