"King, I said don't mess with anything." Roman rolled his eyes as he batted at his scarf that was draped over the corner of his bed. Virgil was searching the top of his desk for any notes or clues. Honestly, Roman was getting very bored. As funny as it was to be on a mission to sneak info about himself in his own room with Virgil, who didn't know Roman was the cat... not being able to do anything was tiresome. "King..." Roman jumped onto his bed and started rolling all around it making Virgil tense with worry. "King! That's Roman's bed!"

'Exactly. It's my bed. I can do with it as I please.' Roman stuck his tongue out slightly before twisting and pawing at the blanket. 'Relax, Anxiety. It's ok. If I had a problem with you being in here I wouldn't have said you could use it to summon things.'

"I'm so dead." Roman rolled his eyes as he rolled over onto his feet and just smiled over at the other... only to freeze up as Virgil gently pulled a book out from one of the shelves. "What's this?"

'Uh... Anx... Don't read that!' Roman meowed with clear fear catching Virgil's attention who slowly walked over and sat next to the other. 'Anxiety, please. Don't read it.' Virgil frowned as Roman tried to get his attention away from the book. Virgil's eyes narrowed as he looked it over. Virgil opened to the first page much to Roman's horror who buried himself into his blankets. Virgil took one look at the very first worlds and immediately shut the book with a blush to his face.

"Yeah, no." Virgil laughed awkwardly as Roman peeked over at him with a frown. "As much as I need information... I am NOT going to read his fucking diary to get it. Nope. Not gonna happen." Virgil was quick to put it right back where Roman had it making the cat quirk a brow in confusion. As much as Roman didn't want him to read it, he was still surprised by the fact that Virgil turned down the opportunity. He wasn't even sure if HE would have turned it down should it have been reversed. Virgil noticed the confused look Roman had and smiled. "What? I'm anxious but I'm not cruel. It's bad enough I broke into his room. I'm not going to invade his personal privacy even more by reading his diary. I'm not a villain."

'No... I suppose you aren't... are you, Anx?'  Roman smiled as he laid down just watching as Virgil moved about the place only to crash and fall onto the floor with a sad sigh. 'I told you. I was so angry this time round... I don't think I did leave any sign. I'm pretty sure as soon as I sunk in I left to go clear my head. And then I stupidly decided to go look for... for. Shit.'  Roman whined as the memories hit him hard. His anger towards Virgil... His aggression and... and his fear. Devinora... He was going after the dragon witch?!

'I am so fucking stupid! Damn it! I know better than to do that shit. If I was distracted the last thing I should have been doing was going after her! She did this... she did.' Roman glanced over at Virgil and frowned as he jumped off the bed and slowly made his way over to him. Virgil was just laying there crying as he tried to work through his fears. Roman couldn't help but feel guilty. He could remember these careful hands... this soft touch and calming words. Virgil hadn't been the one that did this to him like he originally thought. Obviously, that was clear by how worried he was over the prince but... Now that Roman remembered who did do it... for him to have ever thought it was Virgil tore at him. Virgil wasn't the one that turned him into a cat... even more so the youngest spotted him and brought him home to care for him without so much as a second thought. And here he always thought of Virgil as this hateful and horrible man. 'I'm so sorry, Anxiety.'

"I'm sorry, King. I guess this was a wasted effort." Roman tensed with concern as Virgil curled up a bit. "I just wish I knew if he was ok, you know? I know I'm... an ass with him but... I do care. I care about all of them. I'm the protector. It's my job to keep everyone AND Thomas safe. If something happened to him... especially if it was because of our fight... I just don't know."

'Anxiety, I'm ok.' Roman paced slightly trying to figure out a way to help the other. He couldn't take the guilt. The pain in Virgil's eyes was enough to tare him apart. He never did like seeing people cry, but to see the youngest crying because of him was heartwrenching. 'Anx, please? I'm ok. I'm ok because you found me. You found me and cared for me. I'm ok because of you.'

"I just want him to be home... and safe." Virgil sighed as he buried his head into his arms. "But as I said before... it's never mattered what I want."

'It matters to me, Anx.' Roman paused before smiling as he mewled. 'I wish I could talk to you but... I just don't know how so...' Roman's eyes went pink as a piece of paper slowly fell in front of Virgil's face catching his eyes. 'I will do what I can to help you. I'm ok, Anx. I swear it.'

"Took a break?" Virgil frowned as his eyes skimmed the page. "Needed to get away... don't worry. I'll be back just don't know when." Roman watched with a small smile as Virgil slowly started to relax. Sure he could have told Virgil he WAS the cat but something told him it would have done more harm than good. At least this way Virgil relaxed and Roman could continue to keep an eye on the poor guy. "He's ok then. Ok... Roman's ok." Roman nodded as he rubbed up against the other purring lightly and making Virgil chuckle. That was until he noticed something. "Hey wait, King? Where did you get this?" Roman mewled as he rolled over to showcase the collar he had summoned as Virgil couldn't help but smile. It was a small black collar with a little golden crown sewn into it and 'King' embroidered in lovely red lettering.

'Like it?' Roman purred softly as Virgil gently looped his fingers around it to get a better look and his eyes lit up.

"Guess you have a collar now?" Roman nodded as he twisted and pawed at his hands playfully. "Since we're here why don't we get you those other things too... and then we get the hell out of Princey's room."
