As I heard the whistle sound.
"Kageyama? Switched with
sugawara-senpai?" I asked confusingly. When I took a closer look at Kageyama,"SHIT" I ran out to the corridor as I see him limping but being dragged by Coach Ukai to see the doctor as he frowned saying that he's fine and wanted to continue playing. My eyes drifted to the sight of his ankle...

"Kageyama!" I run towards him,helping him,"are you okay!?"

"I'm doing great!but coach ukai here is dragging me to somewhere I don't wanna go! Can you help me convince him?" He said,annoyed.

I sighed,"clearly you're not fine! Just listen to coach ukai,kageyama. I know you really want to play but please take care of you ankle!"
"Yes,THANK YOU Y/N!" Coach ukai said laughing.

We brought him to the docs and he sat there impatiently.

"Your ankle is swollen...you should avoid harsh activities for now."the doctor flipped through his clipboard and check on his ankle.

"But-"

"NO BUTS!" I said frowning and placing my arms at the side of my hips.He sighed and sat there like a cute baby whining.I sighed from defeat ,"fine...but only 5 mins and with ukai's approval!"
Ukai just nodded in agreement.
"But have faith in the senpais."He point out.

After the wrapping of his swollen ankle,we went back to the audience area but I parted with them since I couldn't-

I went to my usual again and saw the third and second years sweating like shit. I shift my gaze to the scoreboard;

As we all heard y/n cheering us on,I decided to give my all,like she say,'senpai~' SHE CALLED US SENPAI OH GODDD YES!!!

I turned and smirked,"YO" I said to the team,"we gotta show them what we've got. Y/n put faith in us and-"

"SHE CALLED US SENPAIIIII" Tanaka jumped in.

"Hey! That's my line!!!"I replied back.

We went back to our position and gave our all when the game continued.

I'm actually not surprised Nekoma got to the 20s first. But we caught up and closed the point difference to 1.

I watched as Nekoma scored again.
(Hinata was on the bench btw)

The whistle blows and now,the duo have to show them what they got.

"We have closed the GAP as much as we can." Sugawara-senpai patted Kageyama's shoulder as he walked past him,"do your best."

"ITS FEELS SO GOOD TO BE BACK PLAYING~" Hinata said,blushing.
I facepalmed myself,"ITS NATIONALS- WHY IS HE NOT CARING ABOUT IT-" but when I looked closer, his expression tell me,'I'm ready to kick nekoma's asses'.

"Hah! How's your ankle doing huh." Kuroo teased kageyama,"you shouldn't play ,boy. Or you'll get hurt again~"
Kageyama simply gave him a 'tch' and ignored him.

"AND THE DUO DID THEIR QUICKS AGAIN!!!! NOW THEY CAUGHT UP WITH NEKOMA AND ONE POINT MORE THAN THEM!"

"Yes! THey're quicks seem to surprise me more. Whenever they do it,it looks like they made it 2x faster!!!"

I smirked at the compliments the announcer gave.

That's when I overheard kuroo giving kageyama a harsh comment,"seems like the king will stand out again" he scoff,walking to kenma and instructed him what to do. People started gossiping about kageyama being ditched by his old team.

I got realllllly mad. I looked at Kageyama as his expression changed and it broke my heart to see him broken. He was also releasing dark aura around him but just when he was about to say something,Hinata came popping out of nowhere,"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed,"so what if he was king? Jealous aren't you." He pointed as he dropped onto the ground and laughed.

Huh? I got really confused as I leaned in closer to hear what he has to say.

"Yes! The new king will stand out! Because....HE HAS ME" he smiled widely,"and y/n too!"

The announcer then announced,"huh why are they chatting...aren't they supposed to play? And who is this y/n? Interesting~

Kuroo scoffs,"after you lose,Y/n will eventually come begging me to be hers."

"Hah! You dare talk big, lets see who'll win then." Hinata rolls his eyes and took the Volleyball as he starts the game.

Hinata threw the ball up,hitting it with his palm,landing onto the other side.
