Groaning and groaning, Jennie kept turning from side to side, doing anything she could to make herself comfortable on her bed her stomach killing her. She was almost sure that the sush she had with her parents the day befor was the main reason for feeling sick. Even though she was being constanlty pressured to go to the hospital there was no way she was getting up and ready to do so, if it was a simple food poisoning she would get through it like she had done so many times after poisoning herself b drinking too much alcohol. Of course she didn't use that excuse for her mom and dad but she managed to come up with something equally good. As if that wasn't enough Jennie was still being ignored and forgotten by Lisa who hadn' reached out since that night, bumping into Jisoo also didn't help either, it just made her think of the woman even more. "Honey?" Her mom's voice cam from the living room, footsteps approaching her door and pushing the door opened carefully in case Jennie was sleeping.

"Are you sleeping?" Her mom asked and made direct eye contact with her daughter's body curled up into a ball on her bed, smiling when she saw her look back at her. "Can I come in?" The old woman asked and Jennie nodded, hugging her body by bringing her knees to her chest so her mom could sit comfortably. She knew what was coming up again, the same subject that had been their topic of conversatin for the past two whole days. "Are you feeling better?" Her mom surprisingly asked, her hand caressing Jennie's cheek, pinching it a little bit. This was way too hard, being a whole ass different person to the people that raised you making sure that nothing was missing from your childhood only for you to become a really bad person after all. Deep inside it hurt her, what a surprise Jane has feelings right? That was the problem, when she was around them she was being brought back to her innocent self before Korea changed her. "Yeah, do you need something?" Jennie asked sitting up a little bit, her eyes fixing on her mom's face.

"No, I am just worried honey" Her mom explained, Jennie getting ready to explain and reassure her that she was not going to be sick forever when her mom reached out to take Jennie's hand in hers. "Why hasn't anyone visited you?" The older woman asked, a simple question that felt like a knife stabbing her chest Jennie feeling like her breathing was decreasing and the walls were closing in on her. "They are working mom, I work from home" Jennie lied about all the friends that she never made she had since she didn't need any of them. Nodding she knew that she fooled her once again when she saw her smile, her mom's hand warming hers by holding tightly on it. "Now tell me, who was the woman pissing you off yesterday?" Her mom winked at her, playfully poking her sides again but carefuly sice she didn't want to make her laugh so hard that her pain would increase. "Mom!" Jennie groaned and tried to push her hands away, protecting her body and feeling like a literal child that was playing with their mom. Like a total toddler. "I got it didn't I?" The older woman laughed, Jennie shaking her head as an image of Lisa's face popped in her head.

And then the doorbell rang, Jennie getting up and looking at the living room, her father seeming absent. Throwing the same yellow hoodie on her body, she slipped her feet in her sleepers and headed to the door while her mom quietly followed her. Pulling the door open waiting for her father Jennie jumped on the spot when she saw Lisa's eyes looking back at her, the taller woman stepping right in and pulling Jennie into a tight hug. Jennie just stood there unable to comprehend what happened. "Lisa," Jennie said after a couple seconds of  being held in the woman's arms, pulling back to look at her Lisa looked beyond scared. "Why are you so pale?" Lisa asked and her hands cupped the woman's face, her thumbs brushing on Jennie's cheeks, her skin turning back to its normal colour for a while. "I got sick," Jennie explained and got ready to pull away when she felt Lisa's palm on her back preventing her from doing so. "Lisa-" Jennie spoke up but was silenced by the woman's lips that crashed onto hers, her hands reaching up to hold Jennie's face again while the woman placed her hand on the back of her neck as always.
