She must have been sitting on her desk for some time now, it should be a few hours since the sun had been coming up, rising in the sky and lighting up everything under it. And Jennie was still there, the pen in her hand writing a letter that she didn't even know if she was ever going to send or not. But yet , there she was writing it and putting all her time and effort into it just so she could be as real as humanly possible. Days were passing and the boxes in her living room were only getting more and more as the things that belonged to her made their way into those boxes slowly but surely. It broke her heart, it really did because she knew that there would be no one to stop her from leaving, it's not like she had any friends or family that cared for her in Korea. Just Chaeyoung and lately even Jisoo with whom she started getting along with.

As a psychologist she could tell that there were a few things that shifted inside her own self, she could see how there were things she adapted and started opening up to lately without even realizing she was doing it. She had read so many things about people called "switches" but she never really thought she would meet one of them. For the longest time she didn't notice that Lisa was one of them, she failed to see the signs and it felt as if she had forgotten about all the things she had learnt at school. From a certain perspective she was glad she hadn't noticed it since day one, if she had she doubted that she would ever talk to Lisa again. On the other hand not realizing it only lead her to disappointing herself a little bit, she was so big on reading people and making sure to handle them in the best way she knew and here she was leaving it all behind because of Lisa.

Jennie was happy though. As much as she could. She was happy because she got to feel again, even if she got herself in the biggest mess ever, she managed to prove to herself that she was still human. That was a huge fuck you to the darkest side of her that made her believe she would never amount to anything so why even try to feel again? Leaving Seoul and Korea in general, she wouldn't leave with sadness but with satisfaction and happiness that in her head was had a name and it was called Lisa. Maybe she would never see her again, maybe she would bump into her in the most unexpected way possible, no matter what she would still be happy to see her. No matter what. "You woke up?" Chaeyoung's voice appeared out of nowhere, the woman walking out of Jennie's bedroom with her hands rubbing her eyes since she had just woken up.

"I never went to sleep" Jennie looked up only to see her best friend looking at her shocked and confused, the letter that she had been writing making its way into the drawer, Jennie getting up to approach Chaeyoung. "Sit down, I'll make coffee" Jennie said and pointed at the couch but Chaeyoung was still looking at her confused and shocked as well, the woman unable to understand how and why Jennie never went to sleep the night that passed. "Why didn't you sleep? You need sleep" Chaeyoung pointed out and sat down on one of the stools that were next to the kitchen counter, her head being prompted on her hands as she watched Jennie preparing the coffee. "I was thinking too much, I was dreaming with my eyes open in case you're wondering" Jennie laughed and waited for the water to boil, looking over her shoulder to see Chaeyoung's sad eyes looking back at her.

"You don't have to look at me as if I had the worst break up ever, Chaeng" Jennie laughed and looked back at the two cups in front of her, pouring the water in and seeing the mixture of coffee and sugar become one. The strong smell of coffee hitting her nose and waking her up instantly without even taking a sip from it yet. "I mean, you look like you had the worst break up ever, so don't blame me" Chaeyoung laughed and smiled at her friend once she passed her the steaming hot cup, the coffee smell hitting Chaeyoung as well. The woman was not wrong, but on the other side she wasn't entire right either. Jennie didn't even remember what a break up felt like anymore, she didn't know what half of the things she was feeling were like until she started feeling them all over again. "Speaking of breaking up, did you tell her after all?" Chaeyoung asked, referring to the fact that Jennie was leaving in a couple weeks.
