Take a deep breath and look around for a moment, take in everything that is surrounding you before it all fades away as the years pass. Because they do, they pass by and you don't even realize that it happens. Checking on her things around her Jennie looked up in the house that had become so familiar to her by now. The last three years of her life had been kind of crazy , if she could describe it in one word that is the word she would use over and over again. Three years pass by way quicker than you think when you are constantly on the go, and that is exactly how Jennie's life was going. So many things had changed, so many new things had come into her life and she knew that one piece of her would always be in Seoul, she had sworn to stay by Lisa's side and that was exactly what she did.

Jennie may have been going back and forth, visiting New Zealand until she could finally be moved to Seoul International Hospital but she always returned to that one street in the many that Seoul has, close to Myeong-dong. Taking a deep breath, Jennie started walking up the stairs, her heart beating out of her chest like it always did when she would come back home, the anticipation to see everyone's face being too much to handle at times. This time she knew she was not going to find anyone waiting for her though, considering that it's 11 AM still made it easy to guess that they were out grabbing breakfast like they did almost every Friday. "Home sweet home" Jennie said to herself and pushed the front door open, a nostalgic feeling hitting her when she noticed how much the house had changed since the last time she came home.

Lisa's things were there but Lisa was not. Her practice bags, her whole equipment was there but the woman was nowhere to be found. Jennie found herself passing by each and every room that the house had, a smile that formed out of pain appearing on her lips. She didn't have many memories of  that house, at least not as much as Lisa had or literally anyone else. If she could change one thing then it would be where she worked, not the profession but where she actually works. Jennie has some important memories though that she got to spend in the house, one very important one being the time that Lisa was actually pregnant. That felt like a lifetime ago but it was only a few years back. Three to be exact. "My idiot," Jennie laughed when her eyes fell on a picture of Lisa giving a piggy back ride to Lily, a seemingly recent photo.

It was hard knowing that anything could happen while Lisa was pregnant, Jennie had never been more protective of her. And Lisa didn't mind, actually she enjoyed the constant affection she got from her wife.

"Baaaaaaaabe" Lisa yelled at the top of her lungs, the older woman switching sides on the couch trying desperately to find a position that would be comfortable for her. Running to the living room scared since Lisa had just yelled so loudly that the whole neighborhood must have heard her, Jennie came across the woman reaching up with her arms asking for help. "You scared me you idiot," Jennie sighed and grabbed Lisa's hands, helping her sit up on the couch and then proceeding to sit next to her to make sure that everything was indeed okay. "When did the say the morning sickness will go away?" Lisa asked and tried hugging her own body, the fact that she couldn't stay still messing with her sickness even more now. She was a late developer when it came to signs of pregnancy but that doesn't mean she had the luxury to skip them entirely.

"Because this thing is killing me" Lisa pouted and leaned her head on Jennie's shoulder, the other woman opening her arms to pull her wife into them, the two of them staying like that for a little while, enjoying the time they had together. "I don't know for sure, they said after the second trimester" Jennie sighed and kissed Lisa's forehead lovingly, her heart stopping when Lisa looked up to meet her eyes. Somehow the woman still had that effect on her, no matter how long it had been. They had been together for a year for sure after the whole New Zealand deal ended and Lisa got diagnosed and close to a year when they were just going on and off, when Lisa was supposed to be loyal to someone else. Anyone on the outside would think that they were moving way too fast but it's not like they had  doubts of being together like other couples.
