CHAPTER 7: Prove it As You Earn it

JUNGKOOK'S POV

I couldn't believe my ears on what I just heard! I stared at my mate with wide eyes, and I could say the same for the others.

"W-what?" I asked

"I meant what I said, Jin hyung! Remember the Solar Artic's Mate Law?" Taehyung asks Jin who nodded

"On Law #3, if a pack's member wants to be with him/her and has done some awful things, he/she must prove him/herself and earn his/her trust back, by doing things a mate should do and not do" Jin says

"How many laws does the Mate Law have?" Hoseok asks

"5, to be honest" Taehyung says and we were all shock

"5?!" Jimin repeats and Taehyung and Jin nodded

"Crescent Canine don't even have any!!" Yoongi says

"Nor the other neighboring packs" Jin says

"The Solar Artic pack, is known for its honesty and loyalty towards all of the wolves, and are wisest among the packs" Taehyung says and we all nodded

"What are the different laws?" Namjoon asks

"Law #5: A wolf must never lie to its own mate if only needed. Law #4: A wolf must never do anything to hurt its mate. Like said earlier, Law #3: If a pack member's mate wants to be with it, the mate must prove and earn its mate's trust and love. Law #2: A wolf must never betray or cheat on its own mate or punishment will be its greatest fear. And Law #1: A wolf must never mate with wolves other than its own mate, as a consequence will be given to its mate" Taehyung says and we all went agape

"D-do you know what kind of consequence happens to Law 1?" Jimin asks nervously

Jin only shrugged but frowned as he looked at Taehyung who was only frowning.

"Tae?" Jin calls out

"The punishments on the others will be either kicked out of the pack or will just stay in its cabin for a year or will be disowned. But as for the consequence..." Taehyung pauses and we all just looked at him as he sighed

"From what I remembered, a friend of mine's mate slept with many unmated wolves and had burnt marks the same as mine, and *sigh* he tried to commit suicide, you see, not all wolves have the same consequence, some try to commit suicide while others have second chances given by the Moon Goddess" Taehyung says slowly

We were all shock at what he said, if I slept with many unmated wolves before, who knows what could happen to him! Jin might loose a brother for committing suicide, or he would have a second chance I continued to sleep around. I stood up and walked towards Taehyung and knelt down before him and held his hand, to say the sparks and tingles were everywhere as my heart beat faster and I could say the same for Taehyung.

"I might not be the perfect guy, but, I would do anything just to earn your trust and love, just tell me what to do and I'll do anything you say" I say

I heard the others gasp and went silent as we all waited for Taehyung to answer, I felt that he also held my hand as he had a soft smile on his face.

"You don't need me to tell you on how to do it, just do the right thing a mate should do, that is all I am asking" Taehyung says

"Young Alpha" we all looked at a male who had a serious look on his face

Taehyung stood up and the male closed his right hand into a fist, placed it on top of his chest and bowed and looked back up at Taehyung.

"What is it Dylan?" Taehyung asks

"General Delta Laurence is asking for your  presence in the training grounds" the male named Dylan says

"May I ask why?" Taehyung asks again

"It's for the female stigmas to join the hunters and for the female deltas to join the warriors in the armies" Dylan says and Taehyung nods

"You may leave, I'll be there in a swift" Taehyung says

The male nods as he bows then leaves the pack house, then he turned to me and the others with a small smile.

"I gotta get going" Taehyung says then he leaves

But before he does, he did something that shocked all of us. He. Kissed. My. Forehead! He freaking did it! I heard the other snicker as Jimin and Hoseok cracked up and started laughing at my red flustered face.

"So, Kook! Ya gettin' flustered~?" Hoseok teasingly asks as I only groaned in annoyance

They all kept continuing to tease me, but stopped as I was way too flustered now.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

"So Jin hyung!" Jimin calls out

"Yeah?" Jin answers as he looks at Jimin

"Taehyung, seems to take full responsibility over the Solar Artic pack" Jimin stars and Jin smiles as he chuckles

"Well, Tae was trained and taught in Havoc Academy" Jin says

Jungkook, Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok were all shocked as Jin only shrugged at that as Jimin was confused onto why the others were agape at Havoc Academy.

"Did you just say, 'Havoc Academy'?!" Jungkook asks

"Yeah... why?" Jin asks

"How did he manage to survive that school?!" Hoseok asks

"What do you mean?" Jimin asks

"That school is known to teach and train their students very hard and mean" Namjoon says

"It means that students don't listen to their teachers gets a week punishment of not using their electronics and going out of their dorm other than going to the cafeteria and classes" Taehyung cuts in as he enters the pack house again

Jungkook and the others were about to ask Taehyung what other punishments there but kept silent and looked at Taehyung in shock as a child clung onto his legs, burying his face in them as Taehyung could only chuckle and Jin squealed.

"Tae! Is that?" Jin asks excited while the others looked confused

"Yep, Derek, aunt Hira and uncle Ryan's youngest child" Taehyung says as he carries the child

Jin was excited as Taehyung sat beside him with the Derek in his arms, Jimin sat on the other side of Taehyung as both him and Jin played with the child, meanwhile their mates watched them with pure love and adoration while Jungkook stared at Taehyung while he's carrying a child, he gave Taehyung heart eyes. Oh, he can't wait to get started on earning his beloved mate's trust and love.
