CHAPTER 28: The Next Morning

JUNGKOOK'S POV

I woke up because I didn't feel any warmth next to me, so I looked up and panicked once I didn't see Tae, I quickly did my morning routine and went outside of the room then downstairs, to see the others there, but without Chanyeol and Jisung.

"Oh! Good morning Jungkook, did you wake up without your mate too?" Jisung's mate, Minho asked me and I nodded

"Yeah, you could say that" I said as I scratched my nape

"They're training, but Taehyung and Channie hyung made breakfast for all of us" Jimin said

As he pointed to the food that was on the coffee table, I sat down beside Hoseok and we all continued to eat.

Sanha and Mark decided to wash the dishes, while we watched Jumaji: The Next Level, until we heard the door open and I smelled my Tae's sweet scent of lavender and honey.

"Jisung!!" Minho yelled as he ran towards his mate

"Channie!!" Baekhyun yelled aswell

"Babe! Don't run!" Chanyeol scolded his mate while Baekhyun just giggled

I felt warmth beside me and the smell intoxicated my nose at the sweet and fragrance of it and it doubled because he was sweating.

"Hey pup" I greeted him as I kissed his temple and he smiled

"Hi Kookie" he greeted

"Did you eat already?" I asked him and he nodded

"How was the food?" He asked me

"It was good, you're a great cook" I praised him as he giggled

"Thanks Koo" he said softly anf I smiled

"You tired?" I asked him and he nodded his head

"A little, but I can handle it" he says and I nodded

We were all still watching the movie, until we heard a knock on the door.

"I'll get it" Felix says as he stands up and skips towards the door

We heard the door open and some talking, until Felix came back and looked at me.

"What is it love?" Changbin asks him

"A girl is asking for you at the door Jungkook hyung" Felix says and I raised a brow at that

"Did she tell you who she is?" I asked him

"Yeah, she said her name's Ruth or you know her as Chunseo" Felix says

Then I remembered that I slept with her before the day I met Tae.

"What does that whore want?!" Jimin asks in distaste

"She says she only wants to talk to Jungkook hyung" Felix says

I looked at Taehyung for permission as he nodded and mouthed an 'it's ok', so I stood up and pulled Tae towards me.

"You're coming with me, but I know how that slut is, just hide stay by the balcony and I'll open the link so you can hear what we're saying, ok pup?" I said and he nodded

We both walked towards the hallways and Tae went up the staircase, I opened the door to see Chunseo there, so I stepped out of the pack house and closed the door.

Kookie, I'm here

I heard Tae say in our link.

Ok, just stay there

I said and he replied with an 'ok'. I crossed my arms in front of my chest as I raised a brow at her.

"What do you want?" I asked her coldly and I almost gagged when she pouted

"How can you be so mean to me?! We made love before!! How can you ignore me the next day?!" Chunseo says and I just rolled my eyes

"We didn't what you say 'made love', we only had sex, and if you're going to say that I'm your mate and that you're my mate, then you better fuck off" I said coldly and she just pouted more

"Ugh! Would you stop pouting! You look like a duck trying to seduce its partner!" I said

"But what if I am seducing you~? Come on daddy~" she says trying to seduce me as she started touching my arm

I moved away from her and growled as she whimpered in fear and submission as my eyes also glowed a crimson red.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

While Jungkook growled at Chunseo, he didn't know that Tae went back inside and closed the balcony doors as he sat on the stairs and closed the link he has with Jungkook while he blocked his and V's link as he felt his heart weakening again.

He whimpered in pain, but nobody heard him, not even his friends and mate.

"You. Are. Disgusting! I regret that I sle-HMMPH!!"

Jungkook wasn't able to finish his sentence as Chunseo kissed him, she moved her lips needily on his as she grinded on him, while Jungkook was trying to push her off.

While Taehyung felt his heart beating fast as it broke, he felt his mark stinging as he cried and whimpered in pain, he clenched his chest as he was running out of oxygen.

He fell down the stairs as he breathed heavily, he soon heard footsteps and saw Jisung looking at him with wide eyes.

"Oh my goddess! Tae hyung!" Jisung calls out

Jisung felt something was wrong and his eyes widen once he saw his mark was making black roots surrounding it, he carried him towards his room and mind linked Chanyeol and Jisoo.

When Chanyeol got the link, his eyes widen as he looked at Jisoo who also has wide eyes but tears in it as well, then they both ran upstairs to Taehyung's room, with Jin being a curious omega he is, followed them.

While Jungkook pushed Chunseo too hard that she fell on the ground and he growled at her as his fangs started showing as Chunseo shook in fear.

"YOU SLUT! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU?! I'M MARKED AND MATED TO MY FATED MATE!! GET THAT SHIT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL!!" Jungkook yells using his true blood voice

And without controlling himself, he choked Chunseo that she started turning blue, JK soon took over and he growled as he soon cracked Chunseo's neck and her body fell lifelessly on the ground, Jungkook soon took control and ordered the Guards who saw it take care of her body as he washed his hands.

Jungkook went inside and noticed that he couldn't feel Taehyung through their bond, so he went into the living room only to receive a punch on the jaw, he stumbled as his lip bled and he looked at the person who punched him and saw Chanyeol.

"Yah! What the fuck?!" Jungkook growled

"WHAT WERE YOU DOING?! HUH?! WHORING AROUND WITH THAT GIRL EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE A MATE?! YOU'RE SUCH A FUCKBOY!! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH HIM!!" Chanyeol growled back that made Jungkook look at him starting to panic

"W-what are you t-talking about?" Jungkook asked as his started to beat faster in worry and fear

"Taehyung's heart almost stopped beating and his mark is burning because of what you did Jeon Jungkook"
