CHAPTER 15: Omega Kim vs. Beta Kim

THIRD PERSON'S POV

"What?!"

Jisoo asks in shock as Taehyung just sniffled but nodded.

"How can he do that?! He's your brother! He knows that to never spill your rank to anyone! Not even to his mate!" Jisoo says

Jisoo knew Taehyung's rank as her father was Gong-yoo and Taehyung's uncle's best friend, they're the 3 muskateers at their years, Jisoo also made an oath to never tell a single soul about it and became protective over Taehyung and even became his best frenemy forever and also very became very affectionate with him, so seeing him like this makes her sigh in annoyance.

Meanwhile with Jungkook and the others back at the pack house, it was still quiet and the man infront of them, glared at all of them, especially Younghoon who cowered in nervousness and shame.

"L-Lord Daehyun" Bogum says and bows down towards the man and fixed his posture

"Uncle Daehyung" Jin and Tzuyu whispered as the man just stared at Younghoon blankly

"Younghoon" Daehyun calls out and Younghoon gulps and stands up

"Y-yes uncle Daehyung?" Younghoon asks, avoiding eye contact with their uncle

"You know the pack's law is that to never break the oath you made or a punishment will be given to you" Daehyun says sternly and Younghoon looks at him

"U-uncle Daehyung please let me explain! I-I just wanted to tell Tae's mate about his rank because I had a feeling he won't! Please forgive me!" Younghoon says as he bows down

Jungkook and the others widen their eyes at the sight, while Jin, Tzuyu and Bogum were used to this as Daehyun was the one who helped them when they were little before he also taught his own daughter Jennie.

Daehyung just growled but looked away and closed his eyes as he sighed, then opened his eyes again and looked at Younghoon who still had his head down.

"I won't be the one to give you your punishment" Daehyun says and Younghoon looked up at him

"Since Taehyung is the Alpha in charge of the pack, he will choose what to do with you" Daehyun says and Younghoon gulps

"Uncle Daehyun?" Tzuyu calls out and the man looks at her

"Why are you exactly here? Did Taehyung summon you from the flare?" Tzuyu asks again and Daehyun looks away

"That discussion is classified until Taehyung decides to tell you or not, but for now, finish your meal and then head to the conference room, I'll try and link with Taehyung" Daehyun says then leaves the room

Tzuyu, Bogum and Younghoon sighed and Younghoon sat on his chair again only to hear a growl from their older brother.

"Oh what now hyung?" Younghoon asks Jin who was still glaring at him

"I'm still not over the fact you just told everyone here about Tae's rank without permission from him" Jin says and Younghoon just rolls his eyes

"Oh come on! Like I said already! He needs to tell everyone sooner or later!" Younghoon reasons

"And you forgot what danger it could bring to Tae when outsiders or traitors finds out, you're dumber than Jennie sometimes you know that!!" Jin argues

"I get it alright! I made a mistake! But don't try to reason me that I'm dumb, but you're on as well!!" Younghoon argues back

"And what is THAT suppose to mean?" Jin asks as he stands up from his place and continued to glare at Younghoon

"You actually forgot that you also made a promise to Taehyung when he was only 14? You dumb omega as a brother! You promised him that you're never going to leave and you ask permission first before going with your mate!! But what did you do? You abandoned him!! Until he also left our pack when he studied at Havoc!! You didn't even said goodbye or even linked one of us to tell that you're actually ok!! Taehyung stopped talking to us more when you left!! So don't tell me that I'm the only one who made a mistake when you also did a mistake long enough to make Tae more secretive and silent!!" Younghoon yells

Using his beta voice and Jin, Jimin, Tzuyu, Y/N and Jihoon whimpered a little while their mates comforted them as Y/N grabbed onto Younghoon's hand, but they didn't notice someone watching their argument at the very beginning.

"You guys done yelling at each other like deaf people?" The woman asks

They all flinched and looked at the owner of the voice and saw Jisoo by the doorframe with a serious expression on her face, with Taehyung suddenly coming behind her, wearing a dress shirt and some black pants, with a sad and hurt expression on his ethereal face that made Jungkook's heart crack.

"T-Taehyu-"

Younghoon wasn't able to complete his sentence as Taehyung left off to another direction, Jisoo glanced at him then turned back towards the others.

"At the conference room, right now" Jisoo says then leaves

Jungkook stood up and walked out of the dining room, with Jimin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon and Jin following, as the others stayed and told the maids to clean the mess up.

They all went to the conference room and entered and saw Taehyung at the head of the table, with Jisoo on his right side and Daehyun on the opposite of Taehyung.

"Have a seat" Daehyun says

They all sat, Jungkook sat beside Taehyung while Jin sat beside him then Namjoon, then Yoongi, Jimin and Hoseok, with the others on the opposite side of them. All are quiet until Taehyung decides to break it.

"Alright, I'm all going to tell you my rank"
