*Xiao zhan POV* Its been a week zhan has been in his new university. To be honest, he enjoyed quite a lot. He and ji li became really good friends. He also made another friend call zhu zan jin , who was a year younger than zhan but was still in the same department and year as zhan. He, ji li and zan jin became best friends. Zan jin was a shy boy and always kept a smiling face.

The three of them enjoyed their times together and also stayed at each other's house for projects sometimes. Everything was perfect. But only on thing was bothering him. Not exactly bother but....it is just...he can't get it out of his head. Ofcourse it was non other than Wang Yibo. Since they first day, he just somehow couldn't stop getting get Yibo's image out of his mind. He didn't even know why. It maybe because yibo was different from the others....well,....different as in...yibo never talked to anyone much until unless it was necessary, except Yu bin , who was apparently his best friend.

Xiao zhan only once talked to yibo....well...if u call that 'talking'. They were paired for a project and they worked together and talked only to give suggestions. Xiao zhan did not try to talk much to yibo...although he wanted to....it was because of the other boy's super ice cold demeanour as if yibo could freeze anyone only by death glaring. He decided he will try to ignore the thoughts about yibo...but the more he tried to ignore the more stronger the thoughts became. He started to get frustrated but soon decided to let it be.
=at university, free period= Xiao zhan, ji li and zan jin were seating in the front rows of the sports auditorium. The auditorium was empty except some some students seating on the seats studying or chatting with friends.m "Hey guys, next week heard there will be a basketball tournament" ji li says "Yea i heard it too" zan jin answers. "The new recruits of the team has joined. I heard one of the new players is really good! He plays like a pro! Do you know who it is?" Zan jin asks curiously "Ofc...its non other than that ''stone faced beast" Wang yibo." Ji li answers. Xiao zhan was keeping quiet as basketball wasn't something he liked talking about as he had a pretty bad history with it. But at the mention of Yibo, his ears perked up. "Wang yibo? He plays basketball?" Zhan asked "Yeah. He is really cool at it" ji li answers "Li-ge, zhan-ge...i want to watch the match! I love basketball!" Zan jin whines. "Ofc we will. Right zhan? Um, Xiao zhan?" Ji li asks noticing xiao zhan's expression. "Yes its fine. But I'm not sure want to watch basketball match....its just...i don't have quite a good past with the game.." Xiao zhan says frowning, as he remembers his past. "What's wrong?" Zan jin asks concerned about his friend. "Um...i will tell u later....but not now....but as to ease ur curiosity i can tell u one thing...its that...i was a pretty good basketball player during my school years too. " zhan says biting his lip Zan jin and ji li's mouth fell open. " really!?!?" They both said together. "Well yeah...but...i don't play anymore....i don't want to play anymore after what happened." Zhan says gloomily. "Why? You could have joined the team! Will...you..tell us reason behind it?" Ji li asked quietly. Zhan smiles and nods "I will...but...not now ...later...but i promise i'll tell." "Mind it...u will have to tell us." Zan jin says. They spent the rest of the day roaming around the campus and teasing zan jin about his crush. Xiao zhan really enjoyed their company. At the end of the day they decided to walk eachother to their houses. They dropped zan jin first. "Bye zan jin! Meet you tmrw.keep thinking about your XUAN LU ( zan jin's crush)!" Ji li laughs "Of course i will. I will sleep with her picture. Happy? " zan jin snarls at them. "Love-sick fool" ji li mutters with a chuckle to zhan. Zhan laughs. "What are u guys smirking about!?" "Nothing just remembering ji li's cafeteria incident" zhan adds with a grin. "Hey!" Ji li smacks xiao zhan on the head. All three of them laugh. Ji li walks zhan to his house and then leaves for his own. ------ That night Xiao zhan couldnt sleep much. His mind is wondering about wang yibo and the new knowledge he gained about yibo being good at basketball....some kind of foreign excitement flashed through his heart. He wanted to see the match....he wanted to see yibo play....but at the same time he doesn't want to... "God...what should I do?!" Xiao zhan scream inside his head and buries his face in his pillow.
*wang yibo pov* Yibo sat on his bed face buried in his palms. His basketball match was coming near and he felt a bit nervous. Even though he was a champion player...he still could not be sure. But the match wasn't the only thing bothering him....ever since he saw that boy called Xiao Zhan he could not stop thinking about him. He didn't even talk to him...they never had any kind of interaction, and the first day they saw each other...it was nothing like an ideal first time meeting anyone ever wanted to have. He nearly killed Xiao zhan with his bike. It was the only time they had a conversation...more like an argument...yibo couldn't help but repeat that scene in his mind over and over again. Xiao zhan's perfect slender figure and almost same height as him, his mesmirizing gentle doe eyes fuming with anger as he glared at yibo, the mole under his lips, his beautiful black hair..all of those made him look like an angel from the heaven. "Hey! Can't you see where you are going!?" Those words were simple and spoken by zhan being angry...still yibo couldn't help but notice silkiness and beauty in that sound. Whenever yibo saw zhan in the hallways laughing with his two friends, he couldn't help but observe every single detail. Once they were passing by each other and Xiao zhan smiled at a joke spoken by his friend zan jin. His smile reminded him of a bunny....a cute bunny. Zhan had bunny teeths with which if he smiled....he melted everyones heart....and...yibo was NOT an exception. "Why the hell do i keep thinking about that boy!?!? We don't even know each other properly!!" Yibo screamed internally, getting frustrated at his own thoughts and the unknown sensations in his heart. . . . .Thanks for reading guys !😊
