Rachel's Thoughts

Boy's Thoughts and telepathic dialogue

"dialogue between characters"

Theo POV

As we walk in the house, I volunteer to go around with Rachel to check on the painting job while Dean and Cas get to work. It was a win-win for me, one-on-one time with my mate and I don't have to start my work. I'm not lazy, but I have liked our little bubble getting to spend all our time with Rachel.

I walk over and take her small delicate hand in mine and lead her through the house. That new fresh paint smell fills the house and it is almost overwhelming for my wolf senses. I watch her closely look at each wall and how the light fills the room. Her head slightly tilts to the side when she is thinking, and it is adorable.

"What do you think love? Does it meet your standards?" I ask and tease her.

She lets out a little chuckle and pulls me into her arms. As soon as my arms wrap around her I feel the tension leave her body. She really is stressed about this, isn't she? I think as I hold her closer, rubbing a reassuring hand up and down her back.

"I love it, I just want to make sure it all is ok for you guys. It's your house and I have no idea what I should be doing." She says into my chest.

I laugh at her words. She doesn't get it. We want her to make it her own because we want her to know how much we want to make her happy. "Love, we want you to do what you want. We will love whatever you do, because it's you who did it. Please, don't worry too much about what others will say. It doesn't matter because you are the Queen, remember?"

I feel her pull back and look up at me. She gives me a small smile and nods. "Let's head to the offices and get our work done. I want to relax a little before we go out tonight."

We walk down to the finished offices. Her office is across the hall from our office, we wanted to keep her close. She walks into her office, but not before giving me a gentle kiss. I turn and head into my office.

Cas and Dean are at their desk on a call. I walk towards the couch and lay back, listening to the phone call. It was our general telling us of small rouge uprisings around the world. I listen to him drone on and on about different options.

"Just send small tactical teams to deal with the issues." Cas directs with no room for a response.

"Yes, my Kings." The general says as he hangs up.

"So, how was it? Everything she dreamed of?" Cas asks seriously for once.

I let out a sigh. "Yes, she likes it, but she wants to make sure we like it. I tried explaining we will like what she does, but she doesn't fully believe it. She is so stressed. She is hiding some of it from the link." I tell them rubbing my hands over my face.

She shouldn't be this good at the link yet. It's easy to just stop the full connection but to filter what we feel from her, is another thing entirely. Most naturally gifted supernaturals take years to perfect that skill.

"How can she be doing that?" Cas asks surprised. I shrug and lean back into the couch.

"I don't know. I didn't tell her not to do it because I want her to feel good enough to share everything with us." I explain exasperated.

"It's fine, we won't push it. Over time she should open up more." Dean tells us ending the conversation.

We work for several hours. Finally, she walks in and looks around our office admiring the set up.
