After a while of doing some work at the office , I pull out my phone and call Pia. By the way , did I mention that my cabin is set in grey and absolutely perfect? I love the metallic touch on the front wall , and the tiny palm trees.
I am GO GREEN!! person , after all.
Pia picks up in three rings.
" Hello?" she sounds a bit annoyed.
" Hey , you still coming for the sleepover ?"
" Oh , yeah! Definitely! Did Aisha call in to confirm , though?"
" She said she has some wedding to go to." I say , absentmindedly.
" And Kaira just went to Rajasthan." Pia mumbled.
" It would be like old times , no?" I laugh , " You and me!"
" You got that right!" Pia squeals.
Later , I picked her from her studio. Pia's really excited about this , since we didn't have one in ...ages , I think.
She even made me pick up tons of Pepsi cans and snacks.
Anyway , as soon as we reached home , Pia flung out of the car and ran to greet my Mom. And yes , she's almost a family member. Mom hugs her tightly and mutters that she didn't come around often , when I was gone.
Before they could continue their it's-been-so-long-since -I-met-you -pal drama , I dragged Pia to a corner of the garden and we sat down. She started telling me all the things that I missed in these four years. Apparently , there was quite a lot. This world changes drastically fast ; be it four years or four days.
Time waits for no one , after all.
" Mira di! Pia didi!!"
My ears perk up at the voice.
Sam is back!
" My favourite adorable sister!" I cry as Sam comes running toward us.
" What do you mean ? " Sam shouts , " I am also your only sister."
" Claws back , tigress." Pia laughed and hugged Sam. This time I refuse to be excluded and hug them both.
We later settled in my room and sipped Pepsi , casually looking for a movie on Netflix. I wanted to watch Malang but they unanimously voted for Love Aaj Kal. Some twenty minutes after , we all got bored and started to watch Vampire Diaries , instead.
Trust me , these two can ogle at Stefan and Damon for all their lives.
But in this case thankfully , we got up when Mom called us for dinner. Dad was yet to come , but Mom wanted to talk to us. And , much to my relief , she asked Pia about the marriage thing , too.
