Personality: Reid is a people pleaser. He'll do just about anything to earn your approval. You might call him a chameleon, always changing who he is to please whoever he's with. He comes off as very outgoing and friendly, always a smile on his lip. Inside he's afraid, afraid of what people think of him and of being alone. He never really lets anyone get close to him. It may feel like your his best friend, but it's just a facade. He's afraid that if he lets someone get to close they'll realize how insecure and fake he is. He's torn between wanting to please everyone and wanting to be alone.

Backstory: Reid is the youngest of three children born to two doctors. His father is a plastic surgeon and his mother is an orthopedic surgeon. The couple met while in med school. Despite their busy schedules they found time to have a family together. The eldest child, Cynthia, is a brain surgeon. The second child, Nathan, is the CEO of a rapidly growing medical equipment company.
Growing up Reid's parents always encouraged their kids to do their best in school. They weren't forced to go into the medics field, but that's where they all ended up.
Reid went to college to become a cardiovascular surgeon. During his freshman year of his premed degree his best friend persuaded his to take an acting class. One week into the class and Reid was hooked. The following semester he took two acting/theater classes, putting off one of his silence classes. That summer he joined his friend on several auditions. He got a call back for three of them. Two were for commercials and the third was for a minor character in a move. He accepted all three much to his parents displeasure.
Not wanting to let his parents down completely he completed his premed degree. It took a year longer than planned due to his ever increasing acting career. Upon completing his degree his got his big break.

Likes: Anime, black licorice, indie music, guitars, Grey's Anatomy, reading, lighting storms, making people happy.
Dislikes: Anything yellow, peppers, heavy metal music, disappointing people, fighting.
