Elijah's POV
"Thanks Elijah, for everything." I should be the one thanking her. "No," I say, "Thank you Y/N for everything." I can feel a smile on my cheeks. We order taco bell and get back to the hotel room.
"Ethan? Y/F/N?" We walk into Ethan's hotel room. "There they are." Y/N says. They are both asleep. I go and put their food beside them and take Y/N by the hand. I want to take her somewhere special. "I want to take you somewhere." she looks confused but walks with me. We get out onto the streets and the cold air hits. I didn't think this through. I can feel Y/N shivering beside me. "Are you cold?" I ask she nods. I quickly take of my hoodie and give it to her. "Elijah, no you keep it." she says. I smile "I don't need it, keeping you close to me is a warmth by itself." She smiles and puts the hoodie on. We arrive.
Y/N POV
Elijah leads you by the hand into a forest.You frown. He notices "Just trust me ok?" he says and you nod. He continues to walk and you stay by his side. "Look ahead." He walks behind you and holds your shoulders. In front if you are hundreds of fire flies lighting up the forest and the flowers. You blush, "Elijah it's beautiful!" you walk towards them and he lefts go of your shoulders following closely behind. "This is were we.." but you already know. This is were you first kissed. You nod. He hands you a jar. "I found this here you can try and catch one." you start of by filling it with water and soil from a nearby water flow. Then you take the prettiest flowers, roots and all, and replant them in the jar. Elijah walks over to you. "I caught one!" he smiles and pours it gently into the jar and you quickly close the lid. "Elijah.." you look at him. "Elijah this is amazing!" you run over to him and hug him. He places his hands on your hips and you rap arms around his neck. "Y/N why are you so perfect, I don't deserve this." you blush. "I'm just a normal guy who got lucky." you look up to him, "No you're not, not to me." He smiles. "Elijah you're perfect. I've never been happier with anyone else, I've only ever felt safe with Y/F/N but now, I feel safe whenever you're with me." He kisses you. "Y/N I'll always keep you safe. He rest his head on yours and, for once, you know life is finally going well.
