"Halt! Gosh look at you, you're still so stunning."

Agad kaming napalingon ni Cyrus sa babaeng nagsalita sa tabi namin. It was Keflene, my classmate and prolly my biggest enemy during the sophomore year. He has the biggest crush on Cy kaya naman ang laki laki din ng galit nya sakin kasi lagi kaming magkasama noon. What do I expect from crazy fangirls drooling over my friends?

I smiled and kissed her on the cheek. "Hey kef, it's been a while." I maintained my friendly face even if both of us knew how much she hates me. She probably just approached me dahil kasama ko si Cyrus.

"Yeah, I didn't expect to meet you here and oh.." Keflene's eyes widended when it landed on Cy's hand around my waist. Tatanggalin ko sana pero mas hinigpitan niya pa ang hawak roon.

"You guys are together?"

Her voice cracked.

Tinignan ko ng masama si Cyrus pero nanatiling diretso ang tingin niya sa babae. Kef looked like her heart was torn into tiny little pieces and obviously– I don't care.

Cyrus held my waist tighter and answered.

"Yeah."

Palihim ko siyang kinurot sa braso pero hindi niya ako pinansin at nanatiling nakatingin lang kay Kef.

She then flashed a fake smile. "Alright, Enjoy the party." 

"Plastic bitch." I murmured as soon as she left the place. Nakita pa naming lumingon siya ng ilang beses bago tuluyang mawala ang anino nito.

My faced turned back on Cy– the other side of his lip is lifted, smirking in victory. Ang mga ganyang ekspresyon ng kanyang mukha ay hindi na bago sa'kin. Tuwing may mga babae siyang iniiwasan, ako na agad ang nagiging panakip butas niya.

"You know what, it's a good thing that you didn't end up with her." Kumunot ang noo nito pero nanatili pa rin siyang nakikinig sakin. "Hindi kami magkakasundo, I hate her."

Narinig ko siyang tumawa.

"Di ko rin type, maliit eh."

"Wow." Kumurba ng bilog ang bunganga ko. "That's already okay, I mean the size. Really? Do you want something bigger?"

"Anong gusto mo? Magtitiis ako sa buto ng calamansi?"

I gave him a disgusted look so he laughed his thought away. Nung sophomore year kasi, takaw gulo si Keflene lalo na sa mga nagkakagusto kay Cyrus. She's quite famous because of her family name. But there are rumors na ampon lang raw siya. Despite of that, Keflene is still a consistent honor student.

"Manyak." He laughed even more before gesturing himself na pupunta lang siya saglit kina Miggy. Tumango nalang ako bago panoorin siyang umalis. Miguel waved their hands on me so I did the same thing and looked away.

Gustuhin ko mang makihalubilo sakanila but Kleo told me that her designer's going to accompany me para magkita kami backstage. It's a special treatment because I was the one who got to see the celebrant first. Perks of having a friend like Kleo, I guess?

Tinignan ko ang kabuuan ng venue. It was filled with lights and beautiful designs, kapansin pansin rin ang mga chandelier na nakasabit sa runaway kung saan maglalakad si Kleo mamaya. The colors screamed the millenial type kaya naman maganda siya sa mga mata. The pool has lights too, halatang pinaghandaan ang party. No wonder she came late yesterday night.

Kleo must be lucky to have this kind of life, she has everything. The fame, money, a beautiful face, and a lovely family. I just wish I could also have the last.
