** General P.O.V **
"I'm afraid I can't let you see him Ms Miller" Hotch replied with stern intent
"Why not?" Kelsey suddenly raised her voice in confusion
"Excuse me" Hotch announced bluntly as he left the room
"Hotch what are you doing?" Reid asked in confusion as Hotchner exited the interrogation room and stood behind the Plexiglas window where Kelsey couldn't see the rest of the team
"Just trust me Spencer" Hotch replied shortly
JJ walked towards the door to leave the room
"Aaron" JJ nodded at Hotch to follow her out of the room
Hotch followed JJ down the hall to where she stopped dead and turned swiftly to face Hotch
"What are you doing?" she whispered harshly "she might actually talk to Spencer"
"JJ we don't know what she saw in those files! Darcy's case file is in there for god sake!" Hotch whispered back just as harsh
"Jesus Aaron how would she even think of making the connection?!" JJ replied exasperated
"Because the entire fucking file is filled with newspaper articles with huge headlines 'Special Agent Blake's son Jacob Reid is kidnapped by her ex maniac boyfriend Casper Donovan!' How about you make the fucking connection JJ!" Hotch vehemently snapped under his breath
"Shit!" JJ cursed under her breath "but she doesn't even know Jacob! No one knows where he is!" JJ suddenly thought to herself "he could be dead for all we know!"
"He's alive JJ, Kelsey is his girlfriend" Hotch spilled the information with a grave look on his face "when we searched her house we found pictures of them, he has an uncanny resemblance to Spencer so I asked Garcia to run them through facial recognition and it was a match to his driver's licence"
JJ's hand automatically covered her mouth as she stepped back in shock "oh my god" she whispered
"I need to get back in there" Hotch replied as he turned and walked back into the interrogation room
"Hotch why won't you let Spencer in?" Rossi questioned
"It's complicated, tell him I do not doubt him but I need to deal with this Dave" Hotch said as he realised Spencer had left
Hotch walked back into the room where they kept Kelsey
"I want to offer you something Kelsey" Hotch said softly as he re-entered the room
"What?" Kelsey spat
"I want to offer you a job" Hotch finished
