We don't have illegal fireworks.
We're either watching the ones on TV or driving to this lake where they do them (which will be totally crowded)
Anyway so my family has a New Years Eve tradition, which generally seems to go longer than New Years Eve and is probably a really bad idea.
Starting from 10 o'clock, 31st December, who ever stays awake the longest wins. We don't technically win anything, just bragging rights.
My brother can go five nights and days without sleep.
That is my record to beat.
Last year I didn't even last two, whelp.
