I handed him the paper and I quickly noticed his mood change.
M: Don't go through my things.
Z: It was on the counter I'm-
M: Just don't go through my things! It's not that hard just to not be nosey.
Z: *clears throat* okay, I'm sorry.
Mattia walked away pissed and I just stood there confused.
I walked into his room slowly hoping he wasn't mad anymore. He was asleep so I was about to leave the room but something caught my eye.
It was a family photo. Idk of who but they all seemed happy except the little boy on the right. He looked scared.
M: Zamira.
Z: heyyy *smiles*
M: what's up?
Z: nothing much, I was about to leave.
M: *confused* okay, goodnight.
Z: goodnight.
I glanced at the photo one more time before leaving the room. I walked into my room and got ready for bed.
Next Morning🥀
M: wake up!!!!!!
Z: *groans* what do you want????
M: Wake up.
Z: Give me 30 minutes.
M: No hurry uppppp!
Z: fine, get out.
M: okay *smiles*
I stood up tired and just brushed my teeth. I went downstairs and saw a girl- I thought he was going to change.
Z: hi. *smiles*
?: Hey, how long have you lived here?
Z: um, 3 years about to be 4 years.
?: Has Mattia been acting weird, or have you seen any weird things going on?
I looked at Mattia but he just looked down.
?: I'm talking to you.
Z: I know. No I haven't seen anything weird.
?: Okay, I'll be back to find out more, have a nice day.
I nodded and she left. I looked at Mattia confused and he sighed frustrated.
M: You have to leave.
Z: what why?
M: Police already know I murdered a bunch of girls, they're probably going to arrest me soon. I don't want anything to happen to you, so please Zamira go back with your brother.
