Mattia hugged me tightly and I just kissed his cheek softly before standing up. I felt like something was wrong.
M: what's wrong baby?
Z: Nothing I'm just not tired.
M: do you feel good?
Z: yes, I'm going to check on Athena.
M: okay.
Mattia looked at me confused and I just left the room. I walked into Athena's room just to see her sitting on her bed on my laptop.
Z: princess it's 2 am-
Athena: did papa kill people?
M: what?
I looked at her shocked and she looked at us innocently.

M: *scoffs* isn't that your "friends" daughter Zamira?
Z: Mattia not now-

Z: Mattia I said not now.
Mattia rolled his eyes and took the laptop away from Athena before leaving the room.
Z: Well princess it's not true, I'll talk with Nataly's mom. Go to sleep.

I hugged Athena and stayed with her until she fell asleep before going back to the room with Mattia.
M: So what were you saying? I thought she was nice.

Mattia looked at me softly and hugged me.
M: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you. I just really don't want Athena to find out, well not yet.
I nodded my head slowly and he kissed me before helping me get back in bed.
Z: You have to tell Athena that you're not mad at her because she was crying think you were mad at her.
M: okay baby.
I kissed him softly before falling asleep.
Athena: what's this?
N: a newspaper where it clearly shows your dad. Read it.
Athena: okay...
