Ivan was about to say something else but my dad walked out.

Z: no, they passed away.
He looked at me hurt and just hugged me tighter.
Z/d: do you have somewhere to stay? If you don't you can stay with me beautiful.
Z: It's okay dad, I live with my husband.
Z/d: husband?! Ivan you did not tell me she had a husband.
I: I found out yesterday.
Z: what are you two doing in Hawaii?
Z/d: Ivan made me move over here because he got a job over here.
I: yup, then I got my own apartment and he stayed here in this house with his wife.
Z/d: that little girl that opened the door is your sister! Zia, doesn't she look like you?

I: where's Iris?
Z/d: eh, you know she's mad, like always. Come in.

We walked inside and there she was.

She looked pissed so I didn't even bother to try to talk to her.

Z/d: I'm so sorry for her behavior, she acts like a child.
Z: it's okay dad, it was nice seeing you.
My dad smiled and hugged me. I hugged Zia and left with Ivan.
Iv: See it wasn't that bad.
Z: he did change, a lot.
Iv: told ya.
I laughed and Ivan smiled focusing on the road.
