Bad Day To Good Timing

Me and Mammon wake up yhe next morning and get ready to go to RAD.

*MC*Hey Mammon. Before we leave, I need to go see Shay and make sure he is up. He hasnt answered any of my texts.

*Mammon*Yeah we can do that. Do you have like a key to his room or something?

*MC*He gave me his spare.

Mammon just nods his head.

*MC*Mammon, is something wrong?

He shakes his head.

*MC*You know you can talk to me. Your my best friend too.

*Mammon*Really? You seem to be best friends with that guy.

*MC*Shay is different. He feels like a big brother to me. There is nothing going on between us if that's what your thinking.

*Mammon*What about me? Am I more than what you think of me?

I walk up to him and held his hands.

*MC*I love you to death and as will.

I miss him on the cheek.

*Mammon*The Great Mammon never doubt ya.

I giggle and we walk out the door.

I unlock Shay's door and go inside while Mammon waits outside the room.

I walk over to his bed and sure enough he was still sleeping.

*MC*Shay, wake up or your going to be late.

He gives me a small cough.

I put my hand to his forehead. He had a fever.

*MC*You have a fever. Let get some things for you. You can call me at anytime you need me. But I still have to go to RAD.

*Shay*That's okay. Thank you for helping now anyway.

*MC*Of course. Your my friend. Why else would I care.

I put a wet cloth on his forehead.

*MC*Fell better. I will come check on you durimg lunch time.

He nods and I walk out.

Mammon head to RAD in silence.

We had every class together. We even sit next to each other. We are always partners when it comes to group work.

*Mammon*We are going to eat lunch together right?

*MC*Sorry not today. I need to check up on Shay because he was sick this morning. I would have done the exact same thing with you and your brothers.

*Mammon*I understand. Just I'm coming with you.

*MC*Sure I don't mind that.

*Mammon*Yeah. You should agree with the Great Mammon more often.

I giggle and pated his head.

He blushed and told me to stop. I did but I giggled after.

When lunch came, we went back to the dorms. I went to Shay's room and Mammon went to mine.

I unlock his door and go to his bed. But he wasn't there. There was a note on his bedside table.

Hey, MC. Thanks for this morning. I called my mom and she came to pick me up. I didn't want to risk getting you sick. So that's why I did what I did. I will call you when school is over, if I'm not asleep that is. Your a really great friend. Your my little sister. Anyway, I will call you. That is a fact. Just wait for my call. -Shay
