joohyun was pushed aside by a batchmate, causing her to skid across the soil.

the stage light hanging by a rope, and when the three of you reached, it fell on the ground with a loud thud, crashing and the light broke into a million pieces.

the glass hangings lying around the stage in shards.

you rushed to joohyun, who was on the ground trembling.

immediately embracing her, and caressing her hair.

"what happened here?!"

song kang rushed in with his team of organizers and stopped abruptly as he saw the mess on the stage.

nobody spoke anything as the dean rushed in.

"god dammit, what is happening in this university."

he mumbled in annoyance as he scolded the workers putting up the stage for their callous behavior.

he instructed them to clean up the mess, not to cut slack and put up the stage more cautiously so that the incident doesn't repeat.

"it was fine."

you heard joohyun mumble, her voice groggy.

jeongguk immediately passed her his water bottle which she gladly drank.

"what are you saying noona?"

"it was fine before-the light. i checked it myself."

her trembling fingers pointed towards the broken stage light.

"might've been a lose circuit noona."

"joo, let's get you away."

you helped her get up, but then you saw her wince.

you looked at her scratched knee, blood oozing out of the cut.

"i'll take her to the infirmary."

jeongguk nodded towards you. you proceeded to help him when taehyung called out to you.

you didn't even realize he was near the area where the accident took place.

"that's fine, yeoubi and i'll take her."

you nodded.

you barely saw taehyung so stressed.

skipping over the broken lights and the stage setting you made your way towards him.

"what is it tae, we should go to see joo-"
