Adam and I decided that Uncle John had the right to know what actually had happened to his grandson. We left him a letter on the door of his ice-cream parlor. We aren't sure if he read it, but after a week he left town, closing the shutter of Uncle John's Ice Creams forever. We expected him to legally sue us now that he had a confession in his hands, or confront us at least. But that never happened. We wonder where he'd be now and we wish him to be fine. Adam still transfers money to his account as a hope that it would at least help pay his bills.

Ryan is back to being Ryan. The way things went down between us, I expected that he would put space between us. He wouldn't like seeing me with Adam right in front of him. But I'm glad it isn't that way. He has stopped fooling around and has started dating, though none of his relationships really last more than a month. He often jokes about what would have happened if he would have been cursed, keeping in mind the hearts he's played with. Typical Ryan.

Olivia hasn't dated anyone since Carter's death. We worry about her, but she says she is fine, and "I need to focus on my career" is what she says. She often visits the bridge where Carter had purposed her, and the campsite. Seeing her, I realise how important it is to love and respect the ones around you, because when they are gone, all you are left with is regret. Regret of not talking to them when you had time, regret of not cuddling with them one last time, or not hugging them feeling the warmth that their arms offer you, or feeling the love of their kiss.
